Hawk

Text me right when you get home hawk. i told him before he left the front of my house.

it had been raining a lot that day and we were standing in my grass patch.

i had gotten a call earlier that day from hawk asking me to meet him at the gas station which i thought was weird.

Uhm are you okay? i asked the boy

yeah i'm good just meet me here? he asked sorta.

yeah sure i'm on my way. i whispered a little.

Hawk was my best friend but we stayed sorta distant and never hung out just the two of us so i was surprised when he asked me to hangout.

i put on some jeans and a t-shirt and grabbed my beats headphones and made my way to the gas station only to be stopped by the boy who had met me half way.

Sorry if i had known you'd meet me here i wouldn't have brought my headphones. i laughed.

it's cool. he smiled at me.

wanna head back to the parking lot? he asked.

yeah sure. i smiled.

something seemed off. Hawk seemed off. he wasn't being mean but he also wasn't being nice he was just being Blah

hey are you okay? I asked him.

yeah? why wouldn't i be? He replied.

you just seem off. i replied.

sorry y/n i just didn't really wanna be home so i went out. he smiled weakly at me

i felt horrible.

it wasn't like him to be this upset.

we reached the gas station parking lot.

this is where i was sitting when i called you. he laughed pointing to a spot behind a garbage bin.

that's really sad. i bursted out laughing.

common it's 8:30 at night it's not like i could sit on the curb or anything. he laughed.

i saw a bright smile on his face that lit up my whole world.

common let's go somewhere! hawk smiled brightly.

like where? i asked.

let's go to 711!! he suggested.

at this point it was raining and it felt like my whole world was spinning. i was walking in the rain with my crush? best friend? who knows. to 711 at like 9:00 at night.

you know i never actually told my parents where i was going? i smirked.

that's fine we'll just hangout here for a bit then i'll take you home. he said.

thank you. i smiled

nothin' never mind. i smiled weakly and turned away.

do you want a slushy? he asked.

i don't have money. i laughed.

i know i'll buy you one. he smiled at me

no thank you. i smiled at him.

wow that was hot.

SHIT. it's almost 9:30 we should head back. i said.

yeah yeah let's go. he said.

we reached my complex and it's 9:40 at night. the rain was really heavy and it's really dark out.

i'll call my mom and ask her to pick me up. he said.

okay sounds good i'll wait out here with you. i smiled.

thanks y/n, for everything today. he frowned and smiled at the same time.

of course. i replied

a few minutes had gone by and his mom called back.

Hawk hun you have to bike home. we can't empty the car and your bike wouldn't fit so you gotta bike home. his mom said

i was pissed. hawk lives 15 minutes away from biking and it's raining. he could die! i thought to myself

i'll call my dad and ask him if he can drive you home. i said.

okay. he smiled.

i called my dad but no surprise him and my mom were drinking so they couldn't drive him home.

i'm so sorry. i said.

it's okay i'll text you when i get home. and with that he left.

i walked upstairs and thought of all the different ways something could go wrong well he was biking home and it scared me so bad.

so i called Sam.

hey y/n, you okay? you look worried. she asked

i texted Hawk 10 minutes ago and he hasn't answered yet i'm scared sam what if he's dead on the road somewhere. also he seemed really off today. i said.

he'll be okay y/n he's strong enough to protect himself. she said

it had been a few minutes and it was like 11 when he texted me saying he was okay.

i hung up with sam since she was tired and just went to sleep knowing hawk was okay.

i'm definitely in love with this boy.
