"People are-" Baekhyun sighed. Sitting in an isolated corner, his weary eyes watched the crowd go up and down to the loud noises. "Shallow." He said.

Adorned in black, the mob was going rampant over the booming music. "They all look like crows at a funeral."

"Don't try to act nice."

The loud bass music couldn't overpower the voices inside his head.

"You are not a very good person either, you know it too."

The strobe lights were oddly more blinding than usual causing him to fall into his own hands and squeezed his eyes shut.

"Drop the act, Baekhyun."

What's hurting him was no more the lights.

Sure that the lights sting, but words create voids inside that no amount of tears can fill.

"Look at this shameless newbie." a random girl walked to Sehun and spoke, smirking at him as she traced his neck with her painted long nail.

"Stop it before it cuts me bitch." Sehun's voice was furious while his demeanor remained solemn.

"The audacity," she grunted but her eyes were filled with passion and desire for the younger male in front. "That's what makes you special."

Sehun, without a warning, pulled her by her waist and held her close to his body enjoying the boldness of her dress.

She slowly lifted his chin making him look at her face, "Got any plans for tonight?" she asked.

"Trying to get laid. You?"

"Same." she giggled.

"Then-"

"Hey, Sehun," another girl walked to him. "I didn't expect you would come." Unlike the previous girl, she was kind of reserved and kawaii in nature. "Kai told me you were on sick leave, so are you feeling better now?" Her animatic voice just added more cuteness to her presence and Sehun immediately smiled at her wholesomeness.

"Oh dear Miss Jeong, you worry so much." he held her hands, "I'll tell you a secret." and gently leaned closer to her. His actions made her cheeks go red and she stuttered in her steps and in her words.

"Se- Sehun!"

"Actually, I'm not sick at all. I'm just sick of the job schedule," he whispered in her ears.

"Ha?" she appeared shocked for an instant, "Has it even been a month since you joined. You are so easy going." she grinned as she playfully hit him on the shoulders.

The former girl just stood there crossing her hands under her chest judging the cringiness too hard. "Such a fake-ass bastard." she almost rolled her eyes to the back of her head.

"Did you just say anything?" His soft voice turned intimidating in no time.

"Just facts." twitching the corner of her lips she added, "I gotta go. You both continue having a good time." she faked a smile.

"Oh, it's- it's. I'm about to leave too Dara, you can-" Sejeong tried to stop her, feeling bad for interrupting their conversation.

"Ahh! Look at that good girl play, I can't take this anymore." Dara thought to herself before replying, "No, it's ok." letting the other two alone, she walked away.

"So would you like to dance with me, Jeong?" As soon as she quietly nodded in acceptance, Sehun slid his hands to her waist and led her to the dance floor. "Your necklace looks so cute Sejeong."
