'Sun comes up on this new morning, but how many are happy to see the light? The broken minds hide in the dark seeking the answers for the wrongly framed questions. No one to blame but themselves, no one to hurt but themselves. The hearts that are starting to feel different, the minds that are fighting the difference, and the wounded souls that chose the indifference. They all watch the sky change its colors from brightest to darkest, from brightest to darkest yet again. Deprived of reasons and devoured in dismay; their steps stray on the familiar paths every day.'
Baekhyun sighed aloud and put his pen down on his book and closed it. "Does this even make any sense!" he rubbed his temples, despaired, he closed his notebook and stood up to feel the wind.
He looked down; twenty stories high but that didn't make him dizzy nor did it make his steps quiver. Calmly standing on the fringe, he let the sharp winds graze his cheeks and fill his ears.
"Trying to jump?" a raspy voice came from shadows slightly startling Baekhyun.
Sehun leaped over the safety railing and sat a little away from where Baekhyun was standing. "Why are you hesitating?" he asked with zero concern and began to work on the reason for him to come to that secluded place.
Baekhyun didn't answer the intruder, instead, he quietly watched the man take out a few things hastily from his pockets.
To keep the wind out Sehun loosely crossed his legs making a small space between them where he placed a piece of paper, poured some powder on, and briskly rolled it. He seemed very impatient to light it up that he failed a couple of times before he could manage to burn its tip with his lighter. Good long suck and he inhaled all of it, and only then he began to feel relaxed and calm.
All the while Baekhyun kept his eyes focused on that weird man, it was obvious what he was doing but he just simply kept watching the stranger enjoy his lawless things.
"You haven't jumped yet?" Sehun asked as he was now relaxed and was ready to talk.
"No." Baekhyun actually answered that insane question.
"Got family?" he casually asked, drawing in the smoke again.
"Not sure, left the broken house a very long time ago."
"Lucky. What's there to stop you then?"
His response made Baekhyun chuckle a little in disbelief. "I'm..." Baekhyun peeped down again, "scared I guess."
"That sucks."
"Are you not afraid to jump?" Baekhyun walked back and sat on the same line as that man.
"No." Sehun answered but he kept his eyes to the sky as he leaned back a little.
"Why don't you try it then?" The sarcasm wasn't Baekhyun's intention but he did sound sarcastic.
"I have a mother slowly dying in the hospital. So, once she's done, I'll be on my way too."
"I'm-" Baekhyun wasn't expecting such a crude answer, "I'm sorry."
"That woman brought it all on herself. There is no need for you to be-" Sehun finally was able to look at the guy properly. "Bean sprouts!" where Baekhyun sat has better lighting than where he stood before, so Sehun again scanned him carefully. "Indeed, a bean sprout." He muttered.
"Excuse me?" Baekhyun felt a little offended.
"Boring yellow hoodie, white jeans." Sehun cracked up.
"That's rude," Baekhyun felt Sehun's explanation was even more offensive. "Is it ok if I call you a sunflower then, black tee and a yellow jacket?" That was the fastest and the loudest words Baekhyun has uttered in ages.
