TW: References to homophobic rhetoric

Julian didn't even flinch when he heard the door open behind him. He did, however, flinch when Adam flicked the lights on.

"Jesus fuck! Julian, what the actual hell are you doing?" Adam demanded.

Julian looked at him through slitted eyes. "Having a bit of a time of it. If you could turn the lights back off so I can wallow, that'd be appreciated."

"How about I leave the lights on, make you a cup of tea, and you eat this lovely cheesecake I bought on my way home from work?" Adam suggested as he went into the kitchen, flipping on the lights in there.

Julian got off the couch where he'd been sulking, padding after Adam. "You drive a hard bargain, Dr. Philips."

Adam set down the container of cheesecake and Julian went over and popped the plastic as Adam moved to bring down two mugs. Julian glanced up as Adam plugged the kettle in. "You do know that storing the mugs a full foot above my head won't encourage tea drinking behaviors?"

"You drink coffee like you're replacing fluids. I figured I lost the tea battle years ago. And also we have this thing called a stool. It helps you reach high places." Adam shot back, rifling through the pantry for his tea stash. Selecting the tea bags he was looking for, he looked up at Julian. "So. Why are you sulking in the dark? And does it have anything to do with the fact that you smell like a Heat Hotel?"

Julian stabbed a fork directly into the cheesecake, shoveling a huge bite into his mouth. "First off, this is my cheesecake now. Second, it is not that bad."

"I had no illusions of that cheesecake making it past you. And yes, it is that bad. It almost makes me horny for you. What did you get into?" Adam leaned his hip against the counter, crossing his arms.

Julian sucked on the fork. "How horny for me?" He asked musingly.

Adam rolled his eyes. "Why do you smell like Omega sex, Julian? Don't tell me-" He broke off, eyes going wide.

Julian looked down at the cheesecake he was destroying. "I may have run into Ollie and finger fucked him in the Literature Building first floor bathroom," he admitted, digging into the cheesecake. When he risked a glance at Adam, he saw his friend was looking at him with a vague smile on his lips. "What?" He demanded, hackles rising.

Adam shrugged, smirking now. He moved to the kettle, which was starting to whistle. He poured in the hot water, bobbing the tea bags. "Starting to look a little Same-Rank there, love. You know what they say, once an accident, twice a coincidence, three times a pattern?"

Julian ate a mouthful of cheesecake as he considered this. Now that he knew that Ollie was on campus, there were definitely going to be repeat performances. As often as possible. What did that mean for him? He frowned, shifting uncomfortably. He picked up the cheesecake and went to the table, sitting down.

Now that he'd gotten a taste of Ollie again, there was no denying that he liked it. Ollie's taste alone was mind-blowing. But what really had knocked him on his ass was looking up and seeing the blissed-out expression on Ollie's delicate features. He was so used to seeing that Alphas, so used to feeling hard muscle as musk made his head spun. Which was so different than Ollie's sweet smell and sleek body that nestled so perfectly against his. And then there was his overwhelming desire to top Ollie. The desire to slid into Ollie's tight channel and feel him clench around him while Julian sucked on his Scent Gland, their Slicks running freely together, until it was impossible to tell whose was whose.

He cleared his throat, looking at the cheesecake. He'd never topped in his life, so why was he starting to desire it now? He'd been happy, damn it.
