It was a cloudy day. Scratch that, it was a horrible day. It was cold. Blizzarding outside. It was currently 2 in the morning. The next morning after the horrible night. Last night.

Phil quietly opened his daughter's room and smiled. There, in the dark room lay Technoblade and Y/n. Technoblade had surprisingly dozed off a bit after a few hours. Now, he lay on his back, one arm under Y/n. His other arm was draped across his stomach. Y/n lay curled up to the pink haired boy's side, her head resting on his chest.

Phil quietly entered the room and grabbed a spare blanket. He put it on top of Technoblade. He smiled at his work before leaving, closing the door behind them. Phil then made his way to his eldest son's room. Inside lay Wilbur, who was holding Sally close. Wilbur had his face buried in the crook of her neck.

The man shut the door. He then came to his youngest son's room. Tommy lay hugging a teddy bear on his side. Phil walked in and pulled the blanket up more to cover his son from the cold. He blew out the candle and left.

Phil wasn't going to wake any of his kids or their partners today. Normally he'd wake them up at 7 or 8. Maybe 9 or 10 depending on Tommy. But not today. Today, he'd let them sleep in as long as they wanted.

"Your majesty..." a voice broke the sad man from his thoughts.

It was one of the maids, "ah, Alyssa..." Phil quietly said.

"Yes, uhm..." she sounded a mix between sad and nervous, "some people want to talk to you about the... uhm..."

"Funeral...?" Phil said blankly.

Alyssa nodded her head quickly, "yes... their downstairs by the entrance..." she said.

"Alright. Thank you, Alyssa. Good day." The king said as he made his way downstairs.

It had been an hour since the king had checked on his children. It was now currently 3 in the morning. The sun still hadn't come up due to the short winter days. It was still pretty dark in the castle rooms. When Y/n had woken up, Technoblade was gone. She got up out of bed and looked around her room.

Eventually, Y/n took a small blanket and wrapped it around her shoulders. She then proceeded to walk to her older brother's room. She slowly opened the door and walked in.

"Wilby...?" She whispered.

Something moved in the bed. A figure sat up. It was Sally, with no Wilbur to be seen. Sally rubbed some sleep away from her eyes and looked at the small girl.

"Y/n?" She asked, "what are you doing here? At this time of morning, too?" Sally said.

"T-Techno disappeared... Can I stay with you for a little bit?" Y/n asked hesitantly.

Sally scooted towards the edge a bit more and patted the bed next to her, gesturing for Y/n to come into the bed. Y/n quickly walked over to the bed and got under the covers. It was still cold inside the castle, so she quickly savored the heat of the blanket. After a few moments, the door opened again.

This time, in walked an even smaller figure than Y/n. It was Tommy. he walked into the room and shut the door behind him. He was dragging a teddy bear around, which he had named "Clementine".

"Wilby? Sissy?" he called.

"Tommy?" Y/n called for her little brother.

"Sissy? Where's Wilby and dad?" Tommy asked sleepily as he crawled onto the bed and in between the two girls after they made room for him.

"I'm not sure..." Y/n yawned, Tommy yawned too not long after.

Sally smiled sleepily at the two kids, "Why don't we go back to bed, and after a bit, we can go look for Phil, Wilbur, and Technoblade? Does that sound good?" Sally asked.
