Chapter 19 - A Bit More Affectionate

It had been a little bit. For the past two years, everything had been mellow. No journeys. No attacks. No monsters. Not even a weird war or anything at one of the borders of the Empire. Every now and then, Wilbur or Sally would come to visit, or just Y/n and Tommy would go and visit them in L'Manburg.

But that was as interesting as it got.

It was boring, if you will.

The other day Wilbur asked Tommy to come down to L'Manburg for some special event or something. So now, it was just Technoblade and Y/n. 

Currently it was late. Around 10 or so at night. The two sat on a couch in one of the many lounges in front of a fireplace.

Technoblade read a book, as Y/n sat next to him. The female's legs were hugged to her chest, as she laid her head atop of her knees. 

Technoblade, at one point, snaked his free hand and arm behind Y/n's back, and around her waist. 

Y/n looked over at the man when he did so. His focus was still trained on his book. Well- until he caught Y/n's gaze. From then, the god shut the book, and put it down next to him, all while keeping his scarlet eyes on Y/n's e/cs ones.

There was a silence between them for a while. After a few minutes, the pair started to slowly, and subconsciously, lean in towards another, until there was only maybe an inch between their faces. 

Technoblade stopped for a brief second, looking back into Y/n's eyes, looking for anything that would say 'I don't want this'. 

When he didn't find anything, he gently closed the gap in between their lips. After a bit, the two separated for air. Not long after, the king chased after Y/n's lips again, reconnecting their lips as he pulled the female onto his lap, and Y/n wrapped her arms around his neck.

The two had to eventually separate again for air.

"Let's not tell Wilbur about this yet..." Y/n laughed softly.

"Agreed." Technoblade chuckled as he held Y/n close.

It was a nice new experience. For the both of them, as well. 

Tommy came back a few days later. He said that he had a great time, and that L'Manburg had held a small festival. He also brought home Y/n a teddy bear he had won from a game, which Y/n was thankful for. 

Y/n and Technoblade for the most part kept this new romancing (which mainly consisted of cuddles, kisses, and extra TLC) hidden. Only few staff members knew, and they were loyal, and didn't say anything. 

Y/n's days now consisted of attending meals, going to the garden, hanging out in the ballroom, reading in the library, or attending to her royal duties.

Occasionally they'd have a small ball or something, or attend a nobles party.

Technoblade's days were normally attend meals, take care of his duties as king, get or give attention to or from Y/n, and interview/test some new guards or knights.

Tommy's days consisted of attending meals, annoying Y/n, studying, getting the occasional basic training from Techno, and running around the castle.

It was pretty normal for them.

This might be the shortest chapter I've ever written for this book, but I wanted to get it out since I have planned the rest of this story out. 

Oh boy, you have no idea what's coming for you.
