Loki stood there panting calmly, blood running down the side of his face.
I stood there speechless, unsure what to do as Loki glared, showing a dangerous glint in his eyes.
"Loki..." Fenrir sneered. "It's been centuries."
Loki's face was white but that didn't waver his glare. He shifted uncomfortably. "Fenrir..." Loki greeted with a mumble.
He then looked to Vagslath. "Was this your plan? To release him? No power can break Gleipnir. So give her back to me, now." Loki demanded grinding his teeth.
Something inside me snapped.
"I am NOT your possession Loki!" I suddenly growled in fury, clutching the Moonstone hard.
Loki blinked his eyes in blank shock. Even Kaztu, Vagslath, and Fenrir looked to see me at my sudden outburst.
"Tell me the truth." I made sure each word held the same amount of fury in them. The anger inside me rising higher and higher in waves.
I was so tired. So tired of the lies, the pain, of just... everything.
I looked directly at Loki, glaring coldly. "They said you used me, created me into a weapon, a tool for your hands, for your benefit. Then you erased my memory of it, and, years later, you are trying to use me again. Is that true? Is it Loki?!" I was trembling at the end, tears threatening to fall from my eyes.
Loki's head was down. He looked up with a pained, dead, expression.
"Yes..." The words were hoarse from his mouth. "It's true." His eyes now met mine with bitter emptiness. "I used you."
Betrayal hit me like a wave. To hear those words come from his mouth, to prove what the rouges said... "That's what I thought." I whispered.
"And that's why..." a light returned to Loki's eyes. He started to run forward, his dagger in his hand ready to attack. "I won't let them have you!"
Vagslath and Kaztu gave a gasp at this little surprise but soon recovered and ran to confront Loki. Vagslath and Kaztu attacked at air as Loki disappeared, making them look around frantically.
I was fiercely yanked back, away from Fenrir, making me cry out in surprise. I widened my eyes in shock as my arms were held tightly behind my back and a blade was pressed against my throat. Vagslath and Kaztu froze when they saw me.
"Don't move!" Loki demanded from behind my ear. He is holding me hostage?!?!
Silence engulfed the dome, Loki's last words echoing and fading out in the room.
How dare he...
"You don't understand..." Loki growled fiercely in my ear.
How dare he...
"Won't you ever learn?" His grip tightened.
How dare he...
"You are mine..." He pulled me forcibly against him.
How
"and mine..."
DARE-
"Alone!"
A sudden burst of anger snaked through me like a lightning bolt.
In a blinding white flash, the Moonstone's power erupted in my hand, making Loki cry out in surprise and loose his grip on me.
In a blinding rage, I punched Loki's chest with the Moonstone in my hand to get him away from me. The force of the punch was an explosion that made Loki fly across the room and into the wall.
"I DO NOT BELONG to YOU! And I NEVER WILL you evil bastard!" I spat furiously. "I am NOT yours or ANYONE'S object!"
Loki gasped as he struggled to stand up from the ground, pieces of rock and dust falling from his shoulders.
"You are a liar... a deceiver." I continued with cold fury in my voice. "You hurt everyone around you." I swallowed dryly. "You don't truly care for me."
Loki stared at me emptily, breathing heavily. His green eyes cold and desolate.
"No...no matter what you say..." he hoarsely said in a low voice. "You...will always... be mine."
A burst of dark green power exploded around me, tearing up the ground with all the fury I felt towards Loki.
He manipulated me, he used me, he held me hostage...he deserved to suffer punishment. and probably more so for what hell he's given to the gods. I couldn't trust anyone, no one at all. All everyone ever did was try to use me. Don't they know that I'm just a human?!
A gut-wrenching howl suddenly pounded in my ears, startling me. The dark green power was interrupted and dispersed. I looked around with my hands over my ears and froze when I saw Fenrir.
The chains, Gleipnir, that had been used to trap and hold Fenrir down forever, was now charred to a crisp. The bands broke with ease as Fenrir ripped them off ferociously, barking of what seemed to be a devious laugh.
"I have to thank you Midgardian..." Fenrir sneered with a wicked grin. Even Kaztu and Vagslath were still in shock. "your powerful burst of hateful magic destroyed my chains. Now I can free Jormungand and Hel and kill all those who dared to oppose us!"
Fear froze me in place.
"No!" Loki hissed out.
Fenrir snapped his attention to Loki. His wolfish face was expressionless as he walked to and stood over Loki. Fenrir hit Loki with his front paw, making long gash marks across Loki's back, making him gasp out in pain.
"I'll save you for the last kill. That way I can torture you." Fenrir growled lowly. He turned towards Vagslath and Kaztu. "you will get your rewards for helping me, but not until you take this sword out of my jaws. Well?!"
Vagslath jumped "Yes my lord." Vagslath did a quick bow before reaching out to pull the sword out. The sword was flung to the ground with a shattering clang.
Fenrir licked his lips and opened and closed his jaw as he looked back to me as if hungry.
"Woman..." I swallowed as Fenrir walked up to me. "Give me the stone." I couldn't move. Fear froze my nerves in place.
Impatient, Fenrir smacked the Moonstone out of my hand with his huge paw, knocking me over. With an easy gulp, he swallowed it.
I shut my eyes as an spastic light sprang from Fenrir. When the light died down I gasped. Fenrir was well muscled out and his fur strong and healthy.
He howled manically in laughter. "The gods will surly die now! To Asgard!" In only a moment Fenrir disappeared up the staircase.
What have I done?
