I opened my eyes to a dark room. The only light came from a fire that crackled next to my bed in a fireplace.

"You're awake." Said a low wolfish voice.

I didn't feel like answering to Kaztu so I grabbed my cushiony blanket and draped it over my head.

Kaztu let out an impatient breath of air. I heard a patter of footsteps come towards me then stop by my head.

"I killed Loki...well almost, sadly." Kaztu stated. I swallowed. "That's what the power of the Moonstone can do. It can grant great power to any one who wields it." Kaztu continued. "Loki is most likely dead from the damage I have done to him."

I gripped onto my arms. "No..." my voice trembled, "Loki can't be beaten that easily."

"How could anyone survive a vicious attack from a frost wolf, suffer from massive blood loss, been buried alive in a avalanche and got out only to be out numbered and run away?" Kaztu growled lowly.

I cringed, the tears wielding up in my eyes, unsure if Loki would be able to recover from such blood loss.

"How can you care for him after what he had done to you?!" Kaztu growled agitatedly.

"...What?" A sudden confusion made my sadness waver.

"You really don't know do you." Kaztu said impatiently. "He must of put a spell on you so you wouldn't remember him and your powers. But don't worry, all of that will change soon."

What Loki did to me? A spell? Disbelief and a sense of betrayal made me feel weird.

"What is my power then." the words came out raggedy but determined. " What is my power that you want so badly and why was I sent here?"

"Ultimate Destruction..." Kaztu said. "Your power is the power to destroy, fueled by your darkness from all that pain you have held inside yourself since life at home became bad. And with that he made you his weapon of ultimate destruction. But he soon figured out that it was beyond his control and almost got killed stopping you."

I was speechless. Loki had turned me into a weapon?

The trust I had built for him was being eaten away by betrayal.

"How can I tell your not lying to me?" I croaked.

"Why would I kidnap you if you didn't have any powers? You would be useless to us." Kaztu said matter of factly.

He had a point, but this didn't make me feel any better. How could Loki do that to me? How could of he made me into a weapon?

I wanted to go back home, away from all this mess and forget all of it, but as much as I willed it, it didn't happen.

"Come with me." Kaztu said. "I will take you to the dinning room for something to eat."

"I'm not hungry." I said but my stomach groaned saying otherwise.

Kaztu snorted. "Come along."

I had no choice as I pulled away the blankets and got off the bed. I followed Kaztu along the wide halls of Loki's Palace, it was amazing to look at the beautiful structure. Before I knew it we came into the dinning room.

Some Frost giants were gathered at one side of a table, talking among themselves. When they noticed me come in, they stopped talking and looked over at me.I tired to remain cool under the stare of their blood red eyes.

"Sit here" Kaztu flicked his tail at a chair, an array of different foods on the table. "We will discuss the events of what will happen next."

I looked at the food looking for what might be good, aware of eyes watching me. I reached for a plate and fork, interested in some sort of barbecued meat. "I don't know how to work this power you keep talking about. I didn't even know I had it, or if I still do." I applied various foods on my plate and sat down at a spot by the table. "If I do have this power, what do you plan on using it for and why?"

"For revenge." growled a frost giant from the other side of the table. He stood up and came over to me. I stared at him, trying to keep my cool under his towering countenance. "Loki had unrightfully took his place as King of the Frost Giants, while I, his half brother Vagslath, should of taken the throne as leader."

"Great" I mumbled chewing on some meat. "Family disputes."

Vagslath slammed his fist on the table making me jump. "Loki had killed my father King Laufey for glory! His punishment is worthy of death! I will make him suffer for his crimes." He growled.

"Loki... killed his own father?" I said slowly, my mood turned down from this realization. What more of Loki did I not know about?

My thoughts went back to when Loki was fighting. The way he had acted and the dangerous glint in his eyes was unmerciful. Loki didn't mind killing the frost giants and might have even enjoyed it. He had kept secrets from me, not wanting me to know the truth.

Anger lit inside me.

And here I was, still his tool, his weapon of destruction. He didn't really care for me, he just wanted my power to himself. The more I thought about it the more it made sense. All what Loki did for me was just so he could keep his weapon of destruction by his side.

"So the power of the Moonstone isn't enough to kill Loki?" I asked rather bitterly.

"Oh no," Vagslath smirked dangerously. "I want to do more than just kill him. I want to release his wolf son, Fenrir."

Surprise hit me. His son?

I knew a little about Fenrir... He was dangerous, cunning, and held extreme rage towards the gods. Fenrir would defiantly kill more than just Loki if he was set free.

Vagslath continued. "That's where your power will come in, Midgardian, you will release Fenrir, spelling certain death upon Loki."
