Winter's sister

Chapter 8

Wow. That's the only word that comes to my mind. The room is beautiful. There's a couch on the left side with a tv in front of it, a bed on the right on a kinda stage with two stairs. All the room is filled with warm colours and cozy stuff. Everything would be perfect now, if Bucky remembered me.

-I hope you like it, said Steve. It's a spare room, you can change it if you want to.

-That room is prefect, I love it. Thank you for bringing me here Stevie, I'll always be great full for that.

-That's no problem. There's the bathroom there, he said pointing a door next to the Tv. We can go to the store later if you want to get some stuff, like clothes, soap or everything you could need.

-Ok, I will be in here, I'm ready when you are.

He get out of my bedroom, and now I can allow myself to relax. The bed is super comfy, I'm laying on a thousand of pillows. I turned off all the lights except a lamp on my bedside. I've been really cold wearing the T-Shirt and the rest of the clothes I wore at the base, so I take a blanket and I've slept the best I've had in a long time.

Steve POV

I feel really bad for Y/N, the look on her face when she realized Bucky hadn't recognized her was heart breaking. I should go check on her, she have been alone in her room for hours, maybe she's bored and she's waiting for me to come back? There's still plenty of hours before the stores are closing but she would probably like to have stuff for herself.

I knock but no answer.
It's dark in here, there's an only light on her nightstand. Her breathing is heavy, she's probably sleeping. I'm gonna let her sleep. I start to close the door but it cracked. She's waking up, she jumped at the sound. Oh I didn't wanted to scared her.

-Hey Y/N. Slept well?

Y/N POV

The door cracked. Someone is in my room. Oh that's Steve. No need to panic.

-Hey Y/N. Slept well?

-The best in forever.

-You want to go to the store?, he asked.

-Yes! Let's go.

We arrive in a big store called Walmart. He take me to a clothing section and I have the right to chose everything I want. We've been in here for almost 2 hours and did the tour of the whole place, and we now wait in line to get to the cashier. I froze hearing the price of the bill, but Steve pay it with a card like it's no big deal. We get all of my stuck in the car and go back to the Tower. As soon we're in, he get a text message and tell me that.

-Come with me, it's time you meet the rest of the group. They're waiting for you in the meeting room.

We enter a large office with a lot of people sitting around a table.I place myself behind Steve, observing the other up his shoulder. I see Nat, the woman from earlier, the man that was next to Bucky, two brown haired men, one wearing a T-shirt and the other a suit that looks expensive, a red robot, a women who's grabbing the robot hand, a muscular one with long blond hair, next to him a man with long black hair and a strange green suit and finally hidden in the back, an other man wearing a lab coat. Oh, Bucky isn't here, I guess he don't want to see me.
Steve talked first.

-Everyone, I would like you to meet Y/N, Y/N Barnes. She's Bucky little sister. She've been took by hydra a long time ago, and now she's gonna stay with us, if y'all want to.

They all agreed that I could stay here and that wasn't a problem. Suddenly there's somebody behind me, who just passed the door. A young guy, he looks like my age. He bumped on me and after he apologized looking disoriented.

-Sorry! I'm Peter. And you are? He asked.

-I'm Y/N.

-You should learn how to use a watch Peter. Said the man in the expensive suit. I'm Tony Stark by the way.

After Tony presented himself, they all did the same. Clint, Sam, Vision, Wanda, Thor, Loki and Bruce.

-So Y/N, got some powers? Asked Tony.

I look at Steve with question marks in my eyes, can I tell them all of this? He look at me in the eyes and nod reassuringly.

-Well, they experimented a lot of different substances on me, so I've got many. Each of my power is connected to an eye colour. So blue is water, red fire, yellow wind, green earth, purple telekinesis, white invisibility and orange for mind control. All elements have speciality's, like water can heal and heart regenerate things. 

-If you're able to control them correctly, there's a place for you on this team. Tony said. We can start training tomorrow.

-Thanks Tony, I'll think about it, I said shyly.

Wanda just approached me and asked me if I am hungry. I'm starving. I haven't eaten anything in days. She take me to the kitchen and start cooking, with Vision sitting next to me, on the other side of the counter. Wanda's really nice and I just learned she have some powers like me too. Nat joined us and Vision is now gone. I've never really had a girl talk and it's kind of stressing me out.

My fear were unfounded, those girls are the nicest person, maybe except Stevie and Bucky but I'm not objective on this point, and I'm sure I'll be good friend with both of them.  We talked for hours but right now all I want is to take a shower and then go to bed. I got in my room and I see that Steve had put all of my new stuff on my bed. I look in the bags and find a PJ's, soap and shampoo. I take everything to the bathroom and almost drop everything when I open the door and see how good it looks. There's a giant bath in an enormous shower with two shower head. The sink is on the total right and the vanity's a little bit closer, still on my right. On the left are a soft towels.
That warm shower feels like a dream on my cold skin. Now that I'm ready to go to bed, I dive into my sheets in the comfort of my new bed.
