Riva's pov

I started getting ready for the Sangeet function which was today. Tomorrow morning will be haldi and then in evening it will be Mehandi and then day after that wedding. The reception will be held in mumbai after two days.

Just three more days and then I will finally be back to my normal life where there will be no veer. Though after Riley came we haven't talked even a word. We were just simply ignoring each other which was totally fine by me.

Finally I'm done with my makeup. I checked myself one last time and then took my clutch which has my phone and some things. I locked my door with the card key and went towards the elevator.

"Hey dad." I said as I saw him sitting in the reception area.

"Woah. My princess is looking really beautiful today." I smiled and hugged him.

"Where's mom and everyone else?" I asked him.

"Your mom just forget her purse in the room so she went to fetch that and almost everyone are outside. The car's are ready to go. So you better go now. I will come with your mom." I nodded as I went outside.

Everyone was settled in their cars and ready to move. Cars started going one by one. Chote papa left with Ayesha maa and sahil, sara, avi. Mahir and Sam already left. And now only two cars were left. I moved towards my dad's car.

"Oh my god riva you look so lovely, my child." I looked back and saw Ayaan uncle and Sunaina maa who complimented me.

"Thanks aunty. You aren't looking any less. Haina Ayaan uncle." I teased them. They look really cute together.

"So who are you going with?" Ayaan uncle asked me.

"Idk maybe mom dad. Everyone else left I think." I replied looking around for dad.

"We are going with your mom dad. And I don't think veer has still left. Wait lemme call him." I don't want to go with that devil alone. I'm so happy ignoring him. But before Ayaan uncle could call him I saw him coming along with Riley and Cole. He arrived yesterday in evening .

He still looks damn hot in black. He looked at me and our eyes collided. Our trance broke when Riley came and hugged me.

"Veer you guys take your car and go now. It's already late. We are coming right after you. And take riva with you." He nodded.

Cole and Riley took the backseat and left me to sit in front with the devil. We all sat and then veer started the car. Both the love birds were busy in their romance.

"You look super ugly you know." Veer said looking at me.

"I'm sure not more than you." I said back.

"Babygirl I appeared on vogue magazine this year at 5th position for the most handsome man. So you shouldn't call this good looking face ugly." He smirked as he said showing-off.

"You must have paid them off after all you're super rich." I said.

After that we didn't talked any further. I talked with Riley and Cole. They both were going to stay in india for sometime will go back with us to Mumbai.

We all reached the place. I could hear loud music fron outside only. It was decorated beautifully. We all moved out and Veer gave the car keys to the chauffer.

"I'm so excited. I'm attending an indian wedding for the first time." I smiled as Riley said. Cole gave a peck her lips as she blushed.

"Aww you guys are the cutest. And you both look super amazing in indian clothes." I complimented them.

"Are we going to stand here only?" Veer said grumpily. We all moved inside.

Everyone was enjoying and talking. We all took our seats as the functions started. The host came on the stage and started entertaining all of us. One by one everyone performed. I performed with all the girls. Veer didn't danced as he hates it. What can I expect from a boring person like him.

[Wedding day]

"Congratulations guys." I said as I hugged the newly weds.

"Thank you ri." Sam said. She was looking just like a royal Princess today.

I moved back to my seat. After that we all had the dinner and enjoyed the function and then we all went back to our respective rooms. Tomorrow morning we all are going back.

I layed in my bed but I couldn't sleep so I stood up and went outside. I dipped my legs in the swimming pool. I felt a shiver ran inside my body as the water was cold.

"Oh look who is here Ms. Riva Raichand." I heard the annoyed voice.

"Can't you leave me alone." I said as he sat beside me.

"What's the fun in that? After today you won't see me and I won't see you." He said.

"And I'm super happy." I said. But I wasn't feeling that happiness. I don't know why but I just didn't want to leave from here.

"Earth to babygirl." Veer said.

"We both live in the same area if you know. So I'm sure we both will meet someday or other. Or will not if you will ignore me." I said looking at him.

"From last two years I'm living there. We didn't crossed each other's path even once. We will surely meet when you will get married." He smirked.

"As if I willl invite you to my wedding."

"I will come even if you won't. I have to see that idiot who will marry you because I'm sure a sane man won't marry you." He said as he started laughing.

"And you know who will marry you, a witch. A devil and a witch. Perfect pair." I said as I clapped my hands.

"So I'm a devil?" He asked as held my hand and pulled me towards himself.

We both looked into each others eyes. I could feel his breath on my face. The distance between us was nil. I couldn't even say anything because if I will then our lips will collide with each other.

"Diiii." I heard avi's voice as we both broke apart from the trance. We both stood up. I didn't looked at him.

"Riva diii." Avi came running to me. He had tears in his eyes.

"Avi baccha, calm down. What happened tell me?" I asked him. My heart was beating fastly.

"Diii da..dad."

"Avi what dad? Tell me is dad okay? Say something avi you're scaring me now." I asked him. Nothing should happen to my dad.

"Dad had a heart stroke. He has been taken to hospital." And just like that my world shattered.
