New animagus and back to Hogwarts

September 1, finally! The day we can go back to hogwarts. It was great fun living with James again, but I really missed Reggie and Remus. Of course I missed Lily too.

The morning before we arrive at the platform is really very chaotic. Remus and Lily stayed for a few days, but went back home for the last few days.

At six in the morning we are all woken up by Mia. Downstairs we get breakfast from one of the house elves. There are two, Binky and Dinky. They are really nice. After breakfast we take down our trunks and put them in the car. Mia said we have to go by car because James can't apparate yet and Sirius and I are too young. And apparently it's bad for my health.

After the long car ride we are finally at kings cross station. We walk between all the muggles towards the wall between platforms nine and ten. We all run through it and say goobye to Mia and Fleamont.

"Behave yourselves, I don't want to see any owls from Dumbledore this year." Mia says "We'll do our best." says James with a huge grin on his face. Then Mia gives us all a hug and Fleamont gives us all a fist bumb and a pat on the shoulder, as is done in typical Fleamont style.

We enter the train and keep waving until they disappear from view. After a while all the marauders and Lily are in our compartment. "Finally, we have something important to discuss." says James when everyone is seated. "What then?" asks Lily "Regulus is an animagus." I say "I know, he wrote me a letter a few days ago." says Lily "He wants to be there at the next full moon, for Moon." Sirius says "Is that okay?" I ask and I look at the rest. "Sounds fine to me." says Remus. "As long as he can keep the secret, which I assume, it seems logical to me that he can if Regulus wants to." "Okay, that's settled then. I'm going to find him, I'll be right back." I say.

After wandering through the train for a few minutes looking for Regulus, I find him. I open the door and go inside. "Sorry to interrupt, but I need Regulus for a moment if you don't mind. And if you do, that's not my problem." I say and then I look at Regulus. " You coming?" I ask and Regulus gets up and follows me to the Marauder's compartment.

"What is it that I have to come all the way to the other side off the train?" Regulus asks as we make our way back to the Marauder's compartment. "We have considered your request." I say simply and then I open the only door where the curtains are drawn. "We're here, come in." I say.

Once Regulus and I are seated Sirius begins. "You have to understand that this is quite a responsibility." Sirius says "Well, exaggeration is also a skill." Remus says, looking at Regulus. "We've decided that you can be there with the full moon, but you should know that you won't be the only animagus and Moon isn't the only werewolf." says Remus "Okay.." says Regulus "Stop kicking around the bush." says Lily "Remus is a werewolf, and all the rest are animagi." says Lily.

"Still planning to help little one?" Sirius says "Sure!" Regulus says "Okay, nice." says James "Back to planning the pranks for the upcoming school year." "Want to help Reggie?" asks Sirius "Okay" Reggie says and we continue planning the many pranks to come.

After a few hours we finally arrive at hogwarts. We go to the castle by carriages. The thestrals pulling the carriages are all impatiently waiting to finally be allowed to go. Yes, that's right, I can see them. When I was little a good friend of mine died. The thestrals do look a bit scary, but I don't care at all.After we all arrive in the main hall we say goodbye to Reggie and we all sit down at our own ward tables. Then the sorting hat starts to sing its song.

The school's sorting hat so turn me on and i'll tell you what suits you best

Maybe it's Gryffindor for the brave and fearless

Ravenclaw for the wise and learned

Hufflepuff For the loyal and hard working

After the song, the whole hall breaks out in big applause. Then Minnie begins to name the names and eventually nine apprentices are placed in Hufflepuff, eleven in Ravenclaw, fifteen in Gryffindor and fourteen in Slytherin.Then Dumbledore stands up. "Before we start eating, I would like to say a few words. To everyone who is new welcome, to everyone who is back, welcome back. The freshmen should know that the Forbidden Forest, as the name suggests, is forbidden. Some old students would do well to remember that as well." starts Dumbledore and he looks at us with a twinkle in his eye before continuing. "Also, Mr. Filch asked me to remind you that there should be no magic in the hallways. And as of this year, stink bombs are banned, the full list of items that are prohibited is hanging on the door of Mr. Filch's office for your insight. That was it. Enjoy your meal." he finishes and everyone starts eating.
