The next day Sirius is glad to hear he's aloud to leave the hospital wing and he walks back to his dorm. There he finds his dorm mates, fellow gryffindor Lily, and little Slytherin brother Regulus, asleep on the different beds. James in his own bed, Regulus in his, Remus in his own and Moon and Lily in Moons bed.

He walks up to his own bed and looks at the small alarm clock next to the bed. 5 o' clock in the morning. Since it's still early in the morning Sirius decides to join Regulus in his bed.

When James woke up later that day he saw that Peter had already disappeared, he had left a note saying he wanted to catch up on some homework and is at he library. He also notices Regulus is still in the room and Sirius has returned looking like nothing had happened.

James decides to move to Remus's bed and wake him up. He crawls into Remus's bed and silently nudges him awake. "James?! What time is it?" Remus asks as he wakes up. "Somewhere just after 7.30 in the morning. Sirius has returned and everyone is asleep."

"Why did you wake me up this early?" Remus asks as James shrugs "I wanted to talk to you." he answers "What did you want to talk to me about?" "Well I was kind of wondering why you and Moon broke up." James says with an apologetic smile. "Well there were multipal things. First of all, Moon came to me and said she thought we were better as friends, which I definitely agreed on. besides, I don't think I really was in love with Moon, I just didn't realize it before. I never meant to hurt her, I swear." Remus says "Relax Moony, I don't think you have hurt her. I am not gonna lie to you, but I already thought you two didn't really look in love."

"I suppose you're right." Remus sighs "I just really wanted it to work out y'know, I really do care about her." "I know you care about her, and don't worry, so does Sirius. But I'm mostly wondering why you wanted it to work so badly, I mean Moon is great and all, but if you really only feel like she's a friend, then that should be enough right?" James says "You're right, and I just wanted it to work out with any girl, really, but at first I thought I liked her, and I-" Remus starts explaining and James takes over. "You didn't want anyone to find out about you also liking boys?" "Yeah," Remus mutters and he looks down. "How did you figure that out?"

"Well, to be fair, I wasn't one hundred percent sure. But I mean you can only stare at Benjy Fenwick so many times before it becomes suspicious. I mean he is very handsome, but really, Benjy Fenwick? You know how he is straight right?" James says "Yes I know, and it was only a tiny crush, nothing serious." Remus says barely above a whisper. 

"You know I don't care right? About you being into guys, I mean." James says "I know, but that's only you, what about everyone else?" "OK, let me be very clear. It doesn't matter what other people think. If they can't accept you just because you're gay, or however you want to identify, then they're not worth it. Those who like you for who you are, they are the people that matter." "I'm bisexual, for the record. And I know they shouldn't matter, but still, I just want my dad to accept me for once in my life, and I'm scared he won't" Remus says "Well, fuck him. You're an amazing person Moony, and if he can't see that then that is his mistake." James says as he snuggles close to Remus.

"But now to the fun part of this conversation. Is there someone you like?" James asks "No, I mean you weren't exactly wrong about Fenwick, but he's a dick so I won't do anything with it." Remus sighs  

"Does this mean Moon knows?" James asks "No, I didn't tell her." Remus says "Tell Moon what?" Regulus whispers quietly as he moves closer to James and Remus. "Nothing" Remus says quickly and Regulus looks at him suspiciously. "It's really not something that important, let's go to breakfast or at least the common room, so we won't wake up the others." James says
