The sun was just peeking over the horizon and the beautiful colors were bringing light into this dark and bloody war. It was nice to see something beautiful so my mind wouldn't be in a war state all the time. Nature was beautiful but it was hard to recognize in a bloody war. As my mind slowly drifted away from the natural beauty of this land I gazed upon the resupply headquarters accompanied by man men on guard protecting the key to the war. I strolled toward the Captain and the men that were debriefing the mission plan. "The base is heavily guarded by defensive machine guns just outside in big holes strategically placed for attacks, and there is a second line of defense, there are the trenches which will be hard because almost definitely men will be placed there to defend. And after that we must make it through the bunker which is our mission objective." It seemed like a good plan but it was still not good enough to make through without making this mission a massacre. With all do respect sir, if this doesn't work what shall we do? I asked. "You shall retreat to the woods and do not come back." The Captain responded. I thought to myself if we do fail I don't want to be known as the coward that ran away from battle for the rest of my life. We packed up our ammunition and supplies and readied for battle that would decide our fate. I put the fire out and wiped the ashes off my face. We stealth-fully went down the hill in camouflage suits and face paint. Our faces were sweating like a farmer working all day out in the field, but I wasn't sure if I was sweating out of fear or excitement. My arm hurt because the sweat was entering my flesh wound and it gave out a one hundred percent output of pain. The mosquitos were surrounding our heads creating a black halo. We were nearing the objective at a moderate pace but with caution and ease at the same time. We were at the outskirts of their headquarters defenses and the pressure kept growing to an unbearable measure to the extent that I would start shooting out of fear. "How have we not seen them yet?" Asked one of the soldiers. Everyone seemed awfully worried except for Lieutenant Bradford. Something was fishy here, he seemed like he was not worried at all. It seemed like he thought this mission would be a piece of cake. I was going to ask if something was wrong, but at that moment German soldiers ambushed us and tackled us to the ground. We struggled for our lives in hope of escaping the clutches of these German bastards. Everyone was on the ground squirming like little worms, but Lieutenant Bradford was untouched and walked towards the Germans and greeted them with a salute. What the fuck Brad! I yelled at him. "You're a traitor and a coward seeking refugee in the midst of battle!" The Captain joined in unity. "The Germans pay an exceptional price for battle information, they guaranteed my safety and a hefty paycheck. Wouldn't you do the same?" No because I have honor and a family to fight for! I told him. "Well if you would disagree with me, you shall do with the same with them." Brad pointed at us and the German soldiers came to keep us hostage. With every last ounce of my strength I elbowed the soldier that was restraining me and ran for the forest. Gunshots were booming past me almost hitting me in the arm. The gunshots kept getting closer to their target and I could feel the waves of air brush past my body. I ran until I had reached the woods and then I hid behind a bush, when the shots stopped I ran for the heart of the forest unprepared to survive the night alone.

ActionI thought I would make a action filled book about World War 2. It will however be a fiction book for these events did not occur in the actual war. But for your entertainment I have come up with a book for you guys and gals.
