Zayn: Dinner

We chilled out the rest of the afternoon at Ronnie's place. Friends, my girl and booze. Yes life was good. It was sad that Niall missed this, but he had to meet Kaylie. Brr, her name gives me shivers. Not the good kind. But like Ronnie said, we still don't know whther it's that same skank ass whore who smashed my heart.

We all freshsened up and filed out of Ronnie's place and into the car. We were meeting Nialler at Nandos. Pretty obvious it was his decision. We all agreed because Nandos does have the best chicken in the world! 

We got out of the car and a waving Niall caught my attention. I smiled and waved back. I noticed his other hand was intertwined with a girl. we walked to them. When i got close enough and got a good look at the girl next to Niall, I felt the my jaw touch the floor. My blood started to boil. Ronnie took my hand in hers and kissed it. I looked at her and she smiled.

Instantly I felt alright. "Niall, mind introducing us lad?" Liam asked. "oops sorry guys, this is Kaylie". "Hello Kaylie, I'm Liam" "I'm Danielle" "I'm Louis" "I'm Harry" "I'm Eleanor" "I'm Veronica but friends call me Ronnie". All their gazes shifted to me. Kaylie saw me and didn't stir. I swallowed hard, "I'm Zayn". 

I couldn't take it anymore. I needed some air. I walked to the back of Nandos and lit a cigarette. Seeing Kaylie was too much. Those years were the worst of my life. I was bullied, shy and nobody cared about me, but her. Or that's what I thought. The reason why she had such an effect on me was not because I still loved her, it's because the only reason i didn't kill myself during those years was because of her. 

I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Ron I just need some ai-" "I'm Sorry" I took a step back. There she was Kaylie. "Go away" I yelled with with venom dripping from my voice. "I'm so sorry Zayn. I know nothing will ever make you forgive me but I am really sorry about everything. I broke your heart and i feel horrible. But please, I really love Niall." I threw my cigarette down and smashed it.

"Kaylie, nothing you do or say will ever make me forgive you for what you did. But people change, I did. So I won't tell anyone. But if you ever break his heart..-" she cut me off hugging me. "Thank you Zayn. I won't break his heart Niall means everything to me". I didn't hug her back and just went limp. she noticed this and pulled away giving me a weak smile.

We both walked into Nandos, a smile plastered on both of our faces. I genuinely felt better. I still didn't trust Kaylie but for the time being I was good. Ronnie gave me a confused look. I kissed her and smiled. "I'll explain later" I whipered in her ear and settled down next to her.
