Ronnie: Late and a Date

I saw the clock it was 7:30 already! Zayn was going to pick me up at 8:00! Today was a Saturday, I was free like any other day 'coz my break was going on.

I just came back from the park after shooting some hoops, I was smelly and sweaty and I have only half an hour to go.

I told him the directions to my apartment but I hope he gets lost and comes an hour late! I quickly stripped myself, hopped into the shower and had a quick wash.

I came out and it was 7:45! Where does time fly? Anyway I was out in only my towel. I haven't yet decided what I was going to wear?! I don't know why I was panicking so much, but it was my first date in a very long time.

Even if it's with someone who I barely know, I want to be prepared for it. I didn't want to look too dressy nor too casual so I thought I'll go with my usual.

I wore a pair of short jeans shorts and a red tube top with a string that wraps around my neck. I wore a few bracelets, put on my red converse and then went to do my make-up I put a little powder, a light shade of red gloss and mascara.

I thought this was good enough. Just as I was about to sit thinking that he was going to be late, the apartment speaker went off and I heard a familiar voice.

I asked "who's this" and he replied "Zayn I'm here for our date" I replied with sarcasm "You don't say?" he just laughed and I buzzed him in.

Then I heard the doorbell. I went to open the door and there he was looking, I would say fine. He was wearing jeans which were kind of baggy, red Nike's and a varsity jacket actually in my opinion he looked hot!

Wait what am I saying? Ugh let's just get this over with! I smiled at him and he said "Hi! Wow you look really pretty!" I could feel my cheeks turn a light shade of red as I replied "You don't look so bad yourself" with a little chuckle.

He smirked and held out his hand motioning me to take it, I did and he said "You ready?" I really really wasn't but I smiled reassuringly at him and said "Yea let's do this"
