Ronnie: Forever and Always..

Me and Niall were sprawled on his couch. He was fidgety the whole day. "Niall is something wrong?" I asked laying my hand on his. He was there for me the most, I guess this was me returning the favour. "Umm.. No why would you say that?" He stuttered "umm..maybe because your hands are sweating rivers?" I chuckled.

He sighed "I guess it's best if you know..." He told me everything about me from my family to my favourite hoodie. He told me how he knew me from before and how we went to school together. And last how he cared for me and I didn't even remember him.

"Nialler..." was the only thing I managed to say. He played with his fingers "Ron you don't have to say anything..I don't blame you. We were barely friends so I didn't expect you to remember." I moved from my spot on the couch and pulled him in for a kiss. I guess it was mixed feelings I didn't know what I was doing, or why I was doing it, I just needed to fill the open space in my heart I guess.

The kiss was nothing special. No sparks. Nothing like my kisses with Zayn. We both pulled away. Niall sighed "nothing?" I nodded. "I'm sorry Niall" he chuckled "Ron I can't force love and to be honest it was nothing like I thought it would be. No sparks." 

I pulled out of the hug. "Oh God I thought it was just me" he laughed again "nope I felt it too" I smiled at him. Just then my phone rang.

"Ron...There's a problem, I met up with Zayn but he seemed different. He wasn't himself." Liam blared out through the phone. "Whoa Liam chill out..What are you talking about?" I asked. Then I heard everything Zayn had told him. 

My stomach turned and I realized what a bitch I had been. Zayn was as much as a victim as I was. All I knew was I have to find him. "He left without even a bye?" I asked Liam "Yup" "Okay thanks Liam I'll talk to you later". I put the phone in my pocket and grabbed my keys. 

"Hey, where are you going?" Niall asked. "To get Zayn. Niall I love him!" I declared. "Well it's about time! Go get him!" Niall smiled and gave me a thumbs up. God, there's a special place in heaven for that boy.

I got into the car and my phone buzzed I had message "I love you forever and always. Goodbye baby." It was from Zayn. I felt my heart go up in my throat. I drove to the one place I was hoping he would be. Tears streaming down my face.

I finally reached the hill side where Zayn told me he wanted me to be with him forever and gave me the promise ring I had on my finger. Noone knew about it. It was just between Zayn and I. And despite what Zayn had done. I hadn't removed it. I believed him when he said "Forever and Always"

I took the turn to the dirt road and drove to the side. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding when I saw a guy with a Varsity jacket standing on the edge.

"Zayn don't!! Please don't!!" I yelled. Zayn turned around, his face looked worn out. He was sporting a 3 day old stuble. In short he looked horrible. His face was tear stained. Next to him lay burnt out cigarettes. 

All I wanted to do was give him a hug and tell him how much I missed him.

"It's best this way Ron, Niall makes you happy. He's a good guy Ron. All I ever did was hurt you. I love you Veronica Reynolds." he was about to take a step, but he turned around "Oh, and tell Niall that if he ever hurts you the way I did. Heaven isn't that far away. I'll come back and haunt his ass to hell" He smiled. 

I missed that smile, I missed his stupid jokes, his sarcasm, screw that I missed him. He turned facing the edge of the hill. 

Without thinking I ran towards him and hugged him from the back. "Niall is a good guy, but he isn't the one for me Zayn, you are. I love you, you piece of shit!" He turned around for the second time. 

"You know you're making a mistake right?" He wiped my tears. "Maybe I am, but I know It's going to be so fucking worth it."
