— Chapter Ten —

Mark was addictive, Donghyuck came to realize. Now that he once got a taste of the man, Donghyuck couldn't stay away. And this time, Mark let him, even returned his affection.

It was like paradise to Donghyuck, he couldn't quite believe it yet. But still, there was this uncertainty, this awkwardness in the air that neither him nor Mark could shake off.

So when one day Mark suddenly sat on the couch at their dorm in the morning, Donghyuck got a good jump scare. He screamed out loud, probably awakening everyone else in the apartment.

"Dude, what the hell?" Mark questioned in a hushed voice. Too late now as Jeno already sleepily waddled into the living room, Donghyuck feeling absolutely whipped at his morning walk. Renjun, too, had woken up as he opened his door slightly and threw a stern look at the three men in the living room before closing the door again and presumably going back to sleep.

"Hey hyung." Jeno greeted Mark sleepily and the older rose up from the couch. He opened his arms and Jeno practically fell into them, being careful to not spill his coffee all over Mark. Donghyuck tilted his head, feeling a little irritated as to why Jeno got such a heartwarming greeting and he only got a "What the hell?"

Jeno squashed Mark in his arms until the older of the two winced and hit Jeno's back to let him go. Jeno finally did so and then slung an arm around Donghyuck's waist.

"You up for a game later?" he asked and of course Donghyuck nodded, grinning at Jeno. The two and Chenle were the gamers in their dorm and often times spent hours after hours playing any video games imaginable. Donghyuck had tried to convince Renjun to join them but the only video game the chinese man would play was Animal Crossing. Adding onto that he was very much bad at shooting games, proof of it being all the Huya streams in which they had played PUBG.

Outside of these streams Renjun didn't play any games. Neither did Mark, the man being terrible at any kind of games. Donghyuck had tried teaching him once when they were younger and Mark had practiced before his own Huya stream but both was an absolute failure. Ever since then Mark stayed away from games as much as possible, causing him to not be able to talk with Jeno and Donghyuck when the two started chatting about what game to play today.

Jeno slurped on his coffee and Donghyuck could literally watch him awaken more and more until his speech wasn't slurred anymore and his stance was straight again.

"It's seven in the morning, why are you here?" he now turned to Mark who seemed a little caught off guard at the question.

"Just wanted to visit you guys. Am I not allowed to?" he asked and both Donghyuck and Jeno snorted. Mark was a terrible liar and an even worse actor.

"Sure, hyung. Anyway I'll be in my room, go bother Hyuck now." Jeno said and finally let go of Donghyuck's waist.

Donghyuck counted down the seconds, hearing Jeno's footsteps distance themselves. And as soon as the door shut, Mark was right next to him.

Donghyuck stepped back until his hip met the kitchen counter. To avoid Mark then he turned around and pretended to make himself a coffee. Behind his back he could hear the older's chuckle and suddenly he felt Mark's breath fan over his neck.

"Hyuckieee.." Mark whined, sneaking his arms around Donghyuck's waist. The latter's breath hitched and he started nibbling on his nails on one hand while the other gripped a cup.

"I came just for you." Mark mumbled and Donghyuck felt a shiver run down his spine. Nonetheless he moved to the coffee machine and tried his best to ignore the older.
