Chapter 13

Ragnar POV

The last time I saw her, was at the market. I know that she didn't mean to hurt me and the others. But the people, started to talked about her and now there's so many negative rumour about her. Some of them said that she's a witch and a monster, which I strongly disagree. She's emotionally unbalanced and hurt by the people that she love the most. It's been a year after the tragedy, I missed her dearly. I don't know where she is, my duty as a King made my quest to search for her impossible.

Last night, she came to my dream unexpectedly, she wants me to move on and focus with my duty as a King...Though I was a bit hard for me, but maybe this is the best for me and her...I hope she's okay wherever she is now.

Loki POV

2 weeks after the tragedy, Odin passed away followed by mother after...Thor is a King now taking his father's duty, while me... I did try to communicate with Bella using my mind, but she never talk to me back I can't even enter her mind like I usually did before. It's been one year now that she's been missing, I miss her, I miss her laughter, I miss her presence oh how her scent that are so intoxicating made me went crazy for her. It's not that I never made an effort to search for her but every time I asked Thor to joined me to look for her, Thor always said "I believe she doesn't wants us in her life anymore. If she did she definitely will pay us a visit brother. She leave us without saying farewell, it was her choice and we must respect her decision."

That night I went to the Bifrost, and Heimdall was there doing his duty. "Loki.... Still trying to look for her?" Heimdall ask. "Can you see her?" I ask him. Heimdall look at all the star that appear and he saw this one particular star that was long gone started to appear and it shines the brightest. "I can see her, your precious Light Elf...She's happy, and she...." Heimdall stop in the middle of his words sending me waiting. "She's free from the aether." Heimdal smiled to me. I was extremely happy and out of words, after a year she's gone missing today Heimdall can see her again and the most exciting part it is she's free from the aether.

I couldn't hold my happiness that I teleport myself to the throne room. "Brother! I need to speak to you right now" I said to him. Thor gets up from his throne and ask the guards and the others to leave the room. "What is it Loki? Don't waste my time with your unnecessary story of yours pranking the guards." Thor said annoyingly. "Brother listen, I went to Bifrost to check if Heimdall can see Bella as usual. You know what brother?.." Before I could finish Thor cuts me off. "What brother?"

"Heimdall can see her. He said that she's well and she's free from the aether!" I said excitedly, but somehow Thor are not happy as I am. "Don't tell me you want to find her again." He sighed. "Why can't I Thor?!" I was little bit mad at the moment. "Do you forget what she's capable of? Our parents are dead! Because of her!" Thor runs a hand through his short hair and lets out a frustrated breath. "You know damn well she didn't mean it, she was upset that she had been lied to. Trust me brother I know how she felt." I replied. "Oh so you're upset and you just hurt people here and there?!" Thor said mockingly. "Then how about your father, killing thousands of innocent people suppress the helpless so that he can build this gold palace for he to show off that he's the GREATEST! By killing Belladonna parents?!!!!"

"ENOUGH! Get out!" Thor's voice boomed, his voice echoes in the throne room. "Gladly." I bow to him, mocking him before walk out from the throne room.

Back to normal POV

IT's been one year since you first came here, you grew closer to your people so do Earendil. You also learn how to use your power and control the aether inside your body. Earendil said that the aether were attracted to you but it's totally up to you on how you control it. Earendil help you lot to learn how to control it.

You were looking at the balcony of your castle, from here you can see a beautiful mountain, the fields, the blue sky and you can hear beautiful birdsong. Earendil approach you, he took his place by standing besides you. "Don't you miss them?" He asked, looking at the kids that playing on the fields. "Of course I miss my people, my home.. I miss everything." You speak. "What I meant was your beloved one." He glance at you with a smirk. " I don't have any beloved one." You reply, denying what he said. "Oh is that so Bella? Then why there's a two man constantly keep thinking about you especially the Jotunheim Prince named Loki."

"Loki..." you said his name in whisper tone. "I miss him dearly...". Earendil raised his right eyebrow to you. "How about the other man, King Ragnar?" He now folding his arm as he lean his back to the rail. "I miss him too, but I don't want him to keep thinking about me and try to look for me. The last time he did, Vanaheim was like a realm that doesn't have a ruler. So I asked him to move on, and maybe.." You stop between your words. "Maybe?" Earendil questioning you.

"and maybe find the one that will love him, take a good care of him and be his Queen." It hurts when you asked Ragnar to move on, because deeply in your hearts you started to grow a special feelings towards him but you are not selfish and let him took the risk to be with you...As for Loki. Loki been there since day one. You are his best friend, he knows everything about you, he knows how to make you happy, he knows how to annoy you which he usually does, he knows how to calm you down when you're sad. This one whole year being apart from Loki, made you feel something is missing yet you try to deny it. It is a weird intense feelings that you have for him...

"I know it wasn't easy for you to tell Ragnar to move on while you still care for him....But, what about Loki? You said to me that you missed him, why you didn't go and visit him?" Earendil asked, you sighed heavily hearing that question. "The last time I saw him was at Vanaheim, and I was with Ragnar. Before all these things happened, Loki are not please seeing me with Ragnar he even warned me so many times to not spent my time with Ragnar. And when I was at Vanaheim he and Thor was asking me to go home, I was so mad at that time and I ended up hurting him, Thor and the others. Even if he miss me, he probably doesn't want to meet me..." You hold back your tears, somehow when you talk about this made you emotional. Earendil saw you holding back your tears, he don't know what to say anymore so he just wrapped you in his arm and give you a soothing hug.
