Chapter 7

"So..care to tell where we are going?" you walk on the corridor side by side with him. "I know that you love to read, so I'm planning to take you to our library." He said, hearing him said that makes you more excited. After a good walk, you finally saw a big door on the ends of the corridor and there's a guards, guarding the library. "Your highness, my lady." One of the guard greet both of you, while the other open the door for you and Ragnar. Of course the library were dark since no one there, Ragnar try to lit all the candle to lighten the room, you don't want to waste time so you lit all the candle in the same time using your power.

"Thank you Bella." He smiled, then he came back to where you stand and leads you the centre of the room where there's a round table. "Have a seat Bella, I'll come back in a minute." He said, before quickly running different book shelf and grab a different type of book before finally putting it down on the table. "Remember that we talk about your pendant? As soon as I get home that day I went to the library and try to find an ancient book that my father use to keep. I almost gave up because I did remember back then I have read it before, but luck is on my side I found it." He put 2 different type of book, it looks super old and dusty. The brown cover book its about different gems, the second one the book with green cover is about the 9 realms.

"Here look at this." He flips the brown cover book, then the green cover book until he found the pages that he want you to see, then when he found the page he showed it to you. "Look at this, it's the same gem that's on your pendant, exactly the same Bella. It says that this gem only can be found in Alfheim where the Light Elves live. Now if you look at this pages, it also talking about the gem where it only can be found in Alfheim." Ragnar explained to you what he has found.

You take out the pendant from your pocket and put it just beside the diagram on the page. "It's the same gem, Ragnar." Your heart beating fast you're so scared right now but still you want to read the rest of the text. "One of a kind gem that only can be found in Alfheim, the world of the Light Elves. This gem usually passes down from generation to generation in royal family of the Light Elves........" you read it halfway, your vision got blurry, you were so confused right now. Ragnar know that you are Odin's ward, but it always a mystery to all people who are you really is since Odin decided to keep it a secret from others but what you knew is Odin once tell you that he took a good care of you and treat you like his own child because it was your father request.

Ragnar saw a tears forming on your eyes, he didn't say anything but instead he give you a warm comforting hug. You hug him back tightly, "I'm sorry Bella." You heard Loki's voice, you know that he's been here for quite some time because he literally respond immediately. Ragnar release his embrace,he's practically kneeling now while you sit on the chair. He wipe your tear then he caress your cheek lovingly. "I'm sorry that you have to find it that way." He said, he regrets showing you the book and now you're sad and confused. "No Ragnar, thank you." You give him a small smile hoping that he feel much better rather than feeling guilty. "Come, it's extremely late now you need a good rest for your big day tomorrow." You smile while caress his cheek, you then take his hand asking him to get up. He take your hand and you walk hand in hand with him to your room. When you arrive at the front door, he kissed your forehead and bid you goodnight.
