Chapter 5

Loki POV

I bid Lady Erina goodbye then I walked to where Thor and his mortal lover sit. "Brother, do you know where Bella is?" Thor drastically sipping his beer then continue to tell whatever story to Hogun and he didn't even bother to look at me. Jane heard me so she said "I saw her walked towards the balcony area with Prince Ragnar." Yeah right of course that guy following her. "Thank you" I said to Jane, then I cautiously walked towards the balcony area where Bella and Ragnar is. I keep my distance, not that far from them and enough for me to eavesdrop. They were casually talking and of course Ragnar would tell her about his so called coronation ceremony.

Then I heard Ragnar asked about her magic, no please Bella don't show it. I don't want to get inside her mind and tell her so, I don't want to keep her mad at me for doing so. Then Bella show Ragnar her power, she produce a fire on her palm and made the flame dancing. I sighed, Bella, Bella please be careful. Then I heard Ragnar's laughter then followed by Bella. I don't like seeing Ragnar and Bella like that, so I cast my magic so the wind direction change and it goes to both of them.

Then I saw Bella folding her arms together, Ragnar aware that she's cold so Ragnar gave her a thick wolf coat to her. Damnit, I thought Bella would get inside instead of keep talking to him.

Normal Pov

It's weird that the wind direction suddenly came towards both of you, so you cross your arm. Ragnar without hesitation offered you his coat leaving him with his white shirt that's underneath it. "Thank you" you said to him. "Your welcome Bella. Owh yes before I forgot, I personally inviting you to my coronation ceremony." He said. "Thank you for the invitation, I will come to the ceremony. Anyway it's late I think we should call it a night."

"Yes, urm Bella?" he still at the balcony area while you were already two step ahead. "Yes Ragnar?" You turn to him. "Can I walk you to your chambers?" You smiled and nod to him. You and him walk side by side still with his coat wrapped to your body, Then finally you reach at your front door you turn to look at him. "Oh yes your coat" you give him back his coat. He still stand there, you know that he want to say something to you but he's kinda still in his own thoughts. You walk closer to him and tip toeing until you reach his cheek. You planted a soft kiss on his cheek. "Goodnight Prince Ragnar." You smiled to him one last time. Somehow your kiss make him snapback to the reality, you saw his face redden, he touches his cheek just right where you kiss it. "Urm yes Goodnight Belladonna, I..I'll see you tomorrow." He shyly smiled to you before making his way out to his chambers.

You open the door, go inside your chambers and closed it. "How cute." You heard someone said that at the corner of your chambers, slowly Loki came out from the dark. "Loki how many times I said stop doing that" You sighed and lit the oil lamp with your power. You take off your jewellery and put it in a wooden box, then you grab your hair brush to detangled your hair. "Be careful Bella, I sense Ragnar might want to take and advantage of you." Loki stand behind you, his face hardened. "I don't sense anything bad from him Loki, he's a nice man." You look at him through the mirror. He look about to get mad at you, but he try to keep himself calm. "That's because you were under his spell." Loki said. You turn to look at him, then you shake your head. "Nonsense. I'm aware of what I did earlier and I'm not under his spell. You protest.

"He's a bad guy Belladonna! I know what kind of guy he is! I don't want to see you talking to him ever again! Do you understand?!" Loki yelled at you, the mirror in front of you cracked. You stop brushing your hair and put the brush aside. "Get out! Get out from my chambers!" You screamed back, you use your power to open the door. Loki realize that he just snapped at you, you look at him through the cracked mirror his face soften, he sighed and slowly make his way to the door. "I'm sorry Bella. But please be careful" He speak through his mind and of course you can hear it but you didn't even bother to look at him. You shut the door and locked it, then you changed into your night gown and try to sleep.

You walk to this peaceful place, you know it's not Asgard since there's no palace that were made of gold. You walk further more into the forest and to this path, it is so beautiful that it has different types of beautiful wild flower. You look at the people there, they have the same hair colour as yours both male and female. Suddenly you into this place, it look like a palace to you. You then realized that you are in throne room, there was so many people in there. They were so happy and cheering to someone. You try to get a better view, then you stand at the right spot where you can see there's a man with long blonde hair smiling beside him there's a woman same hair colour she looks so happy. You look at the crowd they're chanting something but for some reason you couldn't hear it clearly,then you look back at the man and now you do realize he's holding a child. Like a newborn, you try to walk further more but suddenly you're now in different situation, you still in the same room but this time there's a dead bodies everywhere. You look to the man and woman they were there lying lifelessly but the child weren't there. You screamed in panicked, hoping that this tragic view would end now.

Then suddenly you felt a cold hand on your forehead and you immediately woke up, the first person you see is Loki. You hug him tightly just to remind yourself that you're in a real world now. You cried uncontrollably, Loki rub your back softly. "Shushh it's okay Bella, It's okay you're safe here. I'm here for you. Shushh..it's okay." Loki rock you back and forth, he keep saying that reminding you that you are in safe hand now. After a quite some time, you finally can calm yourself and slowly move a bit signalling that you wanted a space. Loki release his embrace, he wiped your remaining tears that's left on your cheeks. "Do you want to tell me?" He softly speak, he's so different now and only you are lucky enough to see his soft side.

"Can I show you instead?" he nod, then you gently put both of your hand on his forehead. After a minute he slowly open his eyes then look straight to your eyes. "Horrendous" he commented. "Loki?" you asked him. "Yes Bella dear?" again he use dear, you really don't have any idea why this man being so sweet then could be so annoying at the same time. "Can you like..urm accompany me while I try to sleep?" Hearing that he smiled. "Of course, anything for you." You hug him once again "Thank you Loki, you're the best." You said between the hug he chuckled, rubbing your back softly before you pulled away. You tucked yourself in the bed and try to sleep while Loki reading his fav book waiting for you to fall into deep peaceful sleep. After like an hour, you already in your deep sleep, he closed his book and lean forward and kiss your forehead. "Goodnight dear Belladonna" He caress your cheek, before teleport to his own chambers.
