× It's written in first-person narration, but the protagonist is an established character and not a y/n. I'm sorry, seeing a y/n in creative writing grates my carrot.
× I do welcome requests for first-person narration from the perspectives of the other characters if some of you guys really want that, but I get to decide if I want to do that or not. I write my chapters way ahead of publishing them, sooo...
× I try to stick to the correct timeline of Metallica to make the story as realistic as possible (even though it's definitely fiction). Sometimes I do research while I'm typing though, and I don't bother to alter my chapters accordingly. If there are a few details that seem off, they probably are and it's because I decided they suit the plot better.
× This story would be a colossal pile of dogshit if gnrjunkie wasn't part of the editing process. If it weren't for her being so happily willing to read the rough drafts of every chapter and identify their flaws so that I can make it better and more readable, I probably wouldn't even have published any of it at all. She's a phenomenal writer as well, so please go blow up her inbox and ask her to get back to publishing her work (lol this is a joke, don't harass my friend).

× Also a very important point I need to mention: this is a fan fiction. That means I don't own half of the ideas in this story. Most of it belongs to Metallica. All of the songs I mention - none of it's mine. The pictures are all random stuff I found on Pinterest, of course. If your picture features in this story and you'd like me to give you credit for it, just let me know. I have absolutely no problem with giving you the recognition you deserve.
× There will be a ton of foul language [I doubt Metallica were polite church children (which is exactly what I am, lol) back in the day] and, of course, some good ol' smut. Actually, a lot of smut. So if you mind any of that, right now is the time for you to hit the road, Jack!
× I can't get all of the trigger warnings out at once. This story is still in the works and it takes some dark and twisted turns. Death, eating disorders, parental neglect, suicide, sexual assault, violence, homophobia, misogyny, depression — all of that, and more, will be in this.
× It also features a lot of our other beloved bands – Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, Korn, Queen, there's a character in here heavily inspired by Chris Cornell. I got it all for ya.
× I really hope someone, some obsessive and crazy-smitten fangirl as I am myself or fanboy, gets some enjoyment out of this. <3
