"You okay? You haven't ate you hungry?"

"I'm not hungry-"

"You've been in here all day and you haven't even came to the front."

I sighed, "Yea but I'm fine."

"You might be fine but Kailani you aren't just eating for yourself until you figure out what you want to do you have to eat," Kamari rubbed my back.

"..."

"Have you talked to him?"

I shook my head.

"Why?"

I shrugged my shoulders, "I just don't feel like talking to anyone I want to be alone."

"And the dancing dolls?"

"I don't know.. I'm going to get kicked out anyways so what's the point of-"

"You can't just give up because of this. I'm not gonna let you. I brought you here so you could follow your dreams of becoming a dancer-"

"I'm not gonna be a dancer Mari after they find out I'm pregnant. I'm scared to get an abortion but I'm also scared to keep the baby for my own selfish reasons. I want to continue to dance but I don't want to kill a baby that didn't even ask to be born!"

She nodded, "I understand that but you can't give up. You have to do something Kailani if it's not dancing you have to enroll into school so you can graduate. It's only a few months left."

I played with my fingers.

"You could at least succeed in something just in case dancing doesn't work out. Get your diploma and figure everything else out. Don't let this stop you."

I nodded my head.

"Yeah you're right we can enroll me into a school."

She smiled and hugged me, "That's good I am so proud of you we'll go tomorrow but you need to come eat something."

"Okay I will."

I heard a vibration.

I turned to over and opened my eyes. My phone was ringing, it was Tremaine calling me.

I answered the phone, "Hello?"

"Hello? That's all you have to say? I've been calling you all weekend and you finally answer and act like you haven't been ignoring me."

"Tremaine I haven't been in the best mood-"

"You know you can talk to me right? And you're pregnant so I need to make sure you and the baby are good."

I sighed, "I know I'm sorry but I needed time to myself and it's literally twelve in the morning why are you calling?"

"I was worried about you Kailani and you just so happen to answer the phone."

I sat up in the bed.

"Sorry. I'll try to check in with you I'm not myself right now and I'm trying to figure things out."

"I need to see yo face I'm finna FaceTime you."

Before I could say anything, he hung up.

I've been ignoring him because of the dreams and stuff I've been having. I know I shouldn't shut him out but I feel like I'm bothering him.

My phone rang again.

Tremaine🤎
would like FaceTime...

I answered the phone and he had the lights on, staring straight at me.

I couldn't help but laugh, "See I'm fine!"

"No nigga I don't care I didn't know that," he mugged me.

"Well now you know can we talk about something else?"

He smacked his lips, "How are you and the baby?"

"We're fine."

He nodded, "You been eating?"

"Yea.."

"What you eat?"

I looked away from the phone, "Earlier I had pizza-"

"That's all you ate?"

"Trey-"

"Answer the question."

I rolled my eyes, "I'm thinking about quitting the Dancing Dolls and just going to school."

"Wait that's really what you wanna do Lani? That's what you went to Atlanta for."

I sighed and set my phone up.

"Yeah but what's gonna happen when I start showing and what if I fall or something and they won't know about me being pregnant," I shook my head.

"I don't want that to happen."

Tremaine nodded his head, "Whatever makes you happy baby but you have to start talking to me and eating as well. I'm tryna make sure you good."

I smiled weakly.

"Thank you Trey I'm sorry."

"But Ima call you later on."

I nodded, "Okay."

"I love you baby."

"I love you too."

He hung up and I leaned back.

This is going to be a long nine months I already know it.
