I'm Tired

Chapter 13

When I woke up, everything seemed lighter. I immediately started looking for Lucas. I kissed and hugged my father goodbye. I was overwhelmed with joy. I changed my nightgown into a casual dress. I started teleporting hoping to sense his mana.

When I finally sensed him, I teleported to where he was. I saw him sitting on his bed looking down at his feet. He looked up as he felt my presence. I hugged him.

"Who are you?!" He says trying to push me off.

I felt my whole world thrown by those three words. I felt suffocated. What is this? My whole world went dark and I was in a dark abyss drowning even further. I reached my hand to the surface so I could breathe again. I could see myself slowly fading away.

He forgot me.

I knelt down to the bedside due to my legs getting weaker. I could feel my eyes slowly getting wet. I leaned close to his face and whispered, "I'm your lover."

Peck

I kissed him on the cheeks as I could feel the waterworks from my eyes. I clench my hand to ease the pain. I backed away to see his red face. He looked stunned and confused. I tried to wipe away my tears, but I stopped when I felt his hands wrapped around my waist as he buried his face in my shoulder. He was crying, I could feel my shoulder getting wet. I burst into tears. He didn't seem to be joking. When he used the World Tree did something happen? All my thoughts came crashing at me and stopped when he said, "I'm sorry."

"What?"

"This prick guy.. dunno his name.. he said stuff. That you might not love me."

"Huh?!"

"Mhm.. I know you love me.. but he made me doubt. I'm sorry for pulling that prank." Lucas stared me dead in the eyes, tears threatening to form.

It took me a while to process his words. I didn't know what to say.

"I'm sorry for being so stupid." Lucas buried his head in the crook of my shoulder. "I'm so stupid."

"Lucas! Your not stupid!" I shouted suddenly. "You're one of the smartest people I know!"

Lucas was stunned. "Wha-?"

"Yeah!" I continued to rant. "You should be smart enough to know I love you more than the world!"

I start hitting his chest violently. "So please, don't scare me like that again."

Grabbing my arms gently, Lucas pulls me into a hug. "I won't."

We stayed like that for the rest of the night, sleeping on the bed while holding each other, all while soothing the others' worries.

Meanwhile, Claude felt some weird father-like instincts all throughout the night. He feels like he should check on his daughter, but Felix notices and holds him back. She can protect herself.

Light enters the room. You couldn't see the couple embracing one another. The sheets went up to their necks as they faced each other. 

A magician then knocks on Lucas's door.

Knock Knock

"Open the door." The magician tried to say bravely but was still shivering at the thought of what Lucas might do to him.

"If you don't open the door right now I will have to use force."  It took the magician a while to muster up the courage.

Lucas wakes up to see Athanasia embraced by him. He wanted to stay like this for a while. He didn't want to wake her up or leave her. She looked small and fragile, sleeping. He released his hug and she squirmed a bit. Lucas gets up and bends down to give her a kiss on the forehead which makes her settle down after this. He took the sheets and pulled them closer to her face. Lucas puts on his cloak and leaves Athanasia who continues sleeping peacefully, ready to kill the idiot who disturbed his time.

"I feel like sparing a bit." He says as he closes the door behind him. He also made sure to soundproof and lock the room so nobody can disturb her. He swirls his hand as a large fireball appears.

All the magicians gulp and say their prayers. Handing each other notes of their will. Tears and screams filled the tower. Some were even running for their lives.

RIP, we will be remembered.

A/N:

Fluff is expensive. Suffering will soon take place. (Yall should know by now that I can't write fluff. That's why I wrote so little. I also continued my therapy session.) I don't know what I'm getting at, but yeah hope you enjoyed this chapter. Schools starting and I'll be busy.

Author Chan: "Welcome back folks!"

Jennette: "Who's the guest?"

Author Chan: "It's Athy!"

Claude: "Huh? Why is my daughter here?"

Athy: "Hi, I suffer from crazy mood swings." she says as she stares at Lucas.

Lucas: "Hey, why are you staring?"

Athy: "And you're the cause of it."

Author Chan: "Oof... I'll solve your problems. Ijekiel heartbreak takes time to heal even if it is really slow.

~Roger your greed has made an eight-year-old show her scary side and the royal family is just something you don't wanna mess with.

~Jennette just avoid your family.

~Claude slap yourself with the world tree branch.

~Lucas stop. Just stop. Athy's mood swings are caused by your antics. Athy if Lucas can't fix himself, stay away from him.

~Thats the end of Author Chan's therapy session. Please tip me on your way out. I know your filthy rich already, don't be the cause of my homelessness."
