THE sun was fading out of view, and as anyone can atest, this is the best time to go rock hunting.
Onyx traveled along the gravel roads, searching for anything astonishing and telling her companion, Adely, about any rock she did find.
Eventually the two found a cave, Adely bumped Onyxs shoulder, eyebrow raised. "You hear that?" They asked, the obvious cries of a child echoing from the cavern.
"Um..." Onyx hummed, "I'll go check it out, hold my rocks?" She smiled softly, pushing a bit of her hijab back over her shoulder as she went into the cave, eventually finding the small child, in the dark.
"I'm lost..." The child cried, reaching for their savior.
"It's alright, I can help you out," Onyx cooed, making small talk with the child, who was confused at the others excitement of rocks.
She guided them out and the child found their way home.
"Maybe that was your trial thing?" Adely hummed, eyebrow raised, Onyx shrugged.
"Dunno, but look-" She showed off a shiny blue gem she had found on her travels, Adely laughed, listening to her talk.
