Lily's POV

I am heading out of the cab and heading towards an empty one to change and straighten up. When Mulciber runs into me. He calls out

"Eh mudblood watch where the fuck you're going you don't want to run into the wrong person Eh." He quips with his ignorant cockney accent pissing me off even more.

"The wrong person? Do you mean you Mulciber because honestly I could duel you with my eyes closed and my hands tied behind my back. I quickly responded. 'Wow I guess spending all that time with James really did pay off.'

"Well why don't you try—" Mulciber was quickly interrupted.

"Why hello Mulciber its wonderful to see you I see you are having a rift with Lily the mudblood. Why don't you go and spend your time on better things and let me take care of this." Regulus came out of nowhere and defended me.

Mulciber stomped off like the child he truly was and Regulus pulled me into the empty cab.

Good afternoon Lily I missed you over the summer. I'm sorry I called you the M word but it was to keep up my image with dear Mulciber. I hope you understand and find it in your heart to forgive me." Regulus thoughtly responded

"Reg I accept your apology but I don't need you to swoop in and save the day I am head girl, the Griffindor keeper and I don't really need your help in these situations." I said a little bit miffed.

"Lily you didn't see he had his wand pulled out of his back pocket and was getting ready to use it." Regulus pleaded.

"Ok then thank you for helping." I replied now cooled off.

"Also I'm proud of you for making Headgirl this year you've earned it the most out of all the seventh years, you deserve it." Regulus complimented

"Thank you Reg I truly appreciate it sometimes it feels like the entire world is against me."

"Trust me I feel it too but I really am proud of you." Regulus stated.

"Well I need to change I have a prefect meeting to run and I don't even know who head boy is." I state

"You don't know. Oh Lily you're in for a wild ride this year." He said with a wink.

"Why does everyone keep saying that?!?" I frustratedly yell.

"Bye Lily" He says quietly with a wave.

I change into my robes and admit the stunning gold badge on my chest with the simple H.G I didn't know it was possible for me a muggleborn to reach this point but I'm truly proud of myself this year.

I walk out of the cab and walk passed the Marauders cab and see James in his robes earlier than the others. Curious I thought he's always last to change. Then the sun catches on a second little pin hanging on the left side of his robe with the letters H.B.

I swear to Good fucking Godric I am going to kill him. Luckily he hasn't seen me yet so I walk up to their cab and open the door, I state "James would you care to explain why there is a Headboy pin on your robe? Because I highly doubt that Dumbledore has lost his mind entirely."

"Look Lily I understand your reaction I'm truly sorry I didn't tell you sooner but I wanted to surprise you and I even brought the letter to show you so you could actually believe me." He simply stated

"I swear to Godric that is the most level headed thing you have ever said to me." It wasn't but Sirius and Remus still do not need to find out more about our summer.

"Well" I state "Since you are Head boy with me would you like to come with me to our prefects meeting so we can properly prepare?"

"I would love nothing more my deerest lilyflower" He bows down reaches out my hand and kissed my knuckles. I can feel my Godric forsaken ginger genes betraying me as the blush creeps up my neck to my ears to my checks and I can feel Sirius' eyeing me very closely. I can feel Remus' eyes silently judging the situation at hand and I believe he will be the first to find out our little secret.
