Sorry it's been a while but I had summer camp and family vacation where the wifi was god awful. Also my birthday was this week so I wanted to post in honor of it. Also shorter chapter sorry (not really)

The following morning

Lily POV

James and I woke up extremely early.  James went on his usual run around the grounds while I waited in the heads common room for him to return, thinking and drinking my morning tea.  Many questions are running through my head like How are we going to tell Sirius without telling the entire castle about our relationship?  I mean what if we just told everyone about our relationship then people could ask questions later and—

"Good morning my love" James walked in.

"Good morning James. How was your run?  The sunrise this morning was stunning," I finished.

"My run was great and you're right the sunrise was spectacular today," He answered.
"What's going on in that fiery head of yours?  What are you thinking about my love?" He questioned as he wrapped his arms around my shoulders and kissed the top of my head.

"Oh nothing" I pause, as his kisses slowly made their way behind my ears and down my neck, "But if you don't stop what your starting we will not make it to breakfast in time,"I gasped "We have to sort out the mess that is Siri."

He stopped, "Oh fuck, what are we going to do? He's a damn blabbermouth."

"Yes, so if we tell him we have to tell the entire school. —wait what if we just tell the entire school at the ball I mean it's the end of September we can convince Sirius to keep his bloody mouth shut." I proposed.

"I mean it would mean we have to hid it for a while longer but I fine with it if you are Lils." He agreed.

"Ok well lets go wake the beast so we can explain it before breakfast." I concluded.
He nodded along in agreement as I stood up. He wrapped his hand in mine as essentially no one was awake at the time.  As we were walking I thought I heard Ms.Norris but I think it was just my paranoia brain freaking me out. 

Third person POV
It was in fact not Ms. Norris or her mind as Lily thought it was.  It was another person.  An animagus watched their hands wrap together and Lily's head rested on James' shoulder as they walked. The lovely tab watched as James' hand slipped over her shoulder to pull her closer to him.  The tabby finally decided she had seen enough and strutted back to her office to transform back.  Once she had made her way to her office Mcgonagal transformed back to her human form.  She shared a small smile as she thought of the private moment between the two heads she just saw. 

Lily POV
Once we entered the common room we saw Remus and Peter trying to calm Sirius down. Being so early in the morning it was only them who occupied the common room.

"Finally you two fucking show up!!" Sirius screetched.

"Siri please calm down we don't want the entire castle hearing," I attempt to calm him down. I step towards him and he backs away. 

"No you two didn't fucking tell me. James I'm your fucking brother!! You go to your brother to tell them shit but obviously I'm not important enough for you to tell me.  And Lily, Oh sweet Lilyflower, you are like a sister to me.  Why? What did I do to you for you to keep this from me." He ranted as he backed against a wall sliding down with his hands in his hair.  "And you told Remus and not me?" He questioned his voice breaking almost to tears.  "You both know my trust issues and yet you continued to do this to me?" He broke down.

"Siri we wanted to tell you but I was scared. If we tell the school it puts a bounty on all of your backs.  If one of you gets hurt because of me I couldn't live with myself any longer." I say walking towards him and sitting in front of him. "I love all four so much.  Sirius I hope you know that I will never do anything to hurt you intentially.  It breaks me to think that you believe that.  And for putting that thought in your head I am forever sorry." I say letting a few tears slide down my cheeks. 

"I—hiccup—forgive—hiccup—you" he said blubberyly.
I wrapped him in a hug. James came up behind and joined us in the hug.  I nudged him to apologize and he started.

"Pads, I'm so sorry.  I love you.  You are my brother please know it was never my intention to hurt you.  I can't lose you." He turned to make sure everyone was paying attention. "I can't lose any of you.  Please, listen to me when I say that we have to keep all of this a secret, for all of you to stay safe." He said in a more serious tone.
He received nods of acceptance.

"We will tell our secret to the school in due time but we want to keep it private for now."  James retold.

"Now get your asses in to a hug," I said in my 'mom voice' (as James likes to call it)
We group hugged before the rest of Gryffindor woke up.  Then we headed to breakfast and had our classes as usual.
