Chapter 1

Bertholdt's POV:

I woke up and looked beside me, the clock. Now it's 7:00 am in the morning. I still have time before my class started.

I get ready and I went to the kitchen to grab something to eat, I grabbed a bread and ran out from my house and went to the book store.

I made it to the book store. I walked in and I was surprised, I saw Reiner in the book store. Yes Reiner, the popular boy everyone wants to be his girlfriend, even half of the boys in my school wanted to be his boyfriend.

I walked past him praying he wouldn't saw me, but it goes opposite of the things. "Hey!"

e greeted me. I took a deep breath and accidentally made eye contact with him and I quickly broke it.

"H-hey" I stuttered a little and wanted to slap myself but that moves will make this situation more awkward. "I have saw you in school, what's your name?" He asked me and with a smile.

"Bertholdt, my name is Bertholdt, what's yours?" I asked him back even though I knew his name. I just don't know what else I should say. "Reiner, my name is Reiner" I smiled at him he smiled back.

"So, do you like reading books? I see you came here often" He said. 'Often' what did he mean by often? Did he always came here or something? "Well yeah, I like reading books, it's one of my hobbies" Good, now I sound like a nerd.

"So what kind of genre do you like to read?" He asked with a cheerful, bright smile. "Romance" I fucked up, now of course he'll hates me. I sounded like a total nerd.

"Cool! Any suggestions?" Oh? He's okay with that? I tought he will be like, 'Ew! Romance?!' something like that. I looked around that place and I saw a romance book that I already read.

"This is a good romance book" I suggested the book to him. "Me you and love" He read the title out loud and looked up at me after. "You don't like it?" I asked, slightly getting worried for no reason.

"No! I think I'll like it though, I will take it" He said smiling. He was about to go to the cashier and buy the book but my phone vibrated. I took out my phone to take look at it and we were late for school.

"Shit! We're late!" I stated, looking at Reiner. He looked so lost, he took out his phone and he also had the same reaction as me. "Shit, I'm late!" He said, I'm actually panicking a little until I felt a hand took my hand and ran as fast as we could to school.

I was shocked but I didn't do anything and just ran with him.
