"You Felt That?"
☆☆☆☆☆
Today was the day - Anna and I were finally going to Hogwarts.
My heart raced with excitement, yet a thread of nervousness wove through me like frost on glass.
What if they hate me? What if they fear my magic? What if I'm... too different?
"No, no... they'll like me," I whispered to myself, brushing the fear away like snow from a windowsill.
We were walking through a busy Muggle station when we stopped in front of a solid wall between Platforms 9 and 10.
"Where do we have to go, Dad?" Anna asked, puzzled.
"Anna dear, we walk straight into the wall," Dad said with a mischievous twinkle in his eye.
"Come on, Dad! Be serious - how can we go into a wall without breaking our bones?" I asked, eyebrows raised.
"Just trust us, baby," Mum said softly, her smile reassuring.
Dad took my hand, gave me a wink, and - before I could protest - we were running.
My instincts screamed that we were about to crash... but suddenly, I felt a twist in my stomach, like a swirl of wind inside me, and then-
We were through.
A magnificent red train stood before us, steam curling around it like a dream.
My eyes widened in wonder, and I turned to Dad with a stunned, radiant smile. He looked at me like I was his entire world.
Mom and Anna arrived moments later, and Anna and I squealed in delight.
"Don't run, girls!" Mum and Dad called after us, chuckling at our joy.
We paused to take it all in - the laughter, the owls, the trunks, the magic in the air - before Mum and Dad caught up.
"Come on," Dad said warmly, and we headed for the train.
At the door, they kissed our foreheads, held us tight, and whispered proud goodbyes.
We hugged them back, climbed aboard, and the next chapter of our lives began.

Inside the train, Anna and I searched for a compartment.
One was full - four students already inside - so we kept walking.
But then the door slid open, and out stepped a boy with pale blond hair slicked back with precision. His cold eyes scanned us - lingering a second too long on Anna.
