In the candle-lit halls of Hogwarts, where magic stirs with every whisper, Harry Potter begins his first year - unaware that fate has woven another soul into his journey.
Elsa Scamander, silent as snowfall and powerful as a storm, arrives cloaked in...

"Good girl"

ELSA POV
"Now remember, these visits to Hogsmeade village are a privilege. I expect all of you to behave accordingly," Professor McGonagall instructed as we buzzed with excitement.
We were finally going to Hogsmeade. My dad had signed the authorization form during summer - perks of having magical zoologists as parents.
Harry, however, wasn't so lucky.
He approached McGonagall hopefully. "Professor, I was wondering if-maybe-you could sign my form? The Dursleys never did."
McGonagall gave him a tight-lipped look. "I'm sorry, Mr. Potter. I can't sign your authorization."
"Please, Professor?"
"I'm sorry, Potter."
I walked up to Harry, frowning. "If you want, I could stay here with you."
He looked at me with a slight scowl. "No. You go."
"But-" I began.
He shot me a sharp look, and I raised my hands in surrender.
"Okay, okay," I muttered and turned to leave, only to feel warm breath against my ear.
"Good girl," Harry whispered, smug and soft.
I blushed furiously and walked away before my legs betrayed me.
"Have fun," he called after us, pretending to be noble. Dramatic much?

Hogsmeade was a dream - cobbled paths, tiny magical shops, and the scent of sugar in the air. We were now settled at the Three Broomsticks, surrounded by candies we bought for Harry - blood lollipops, cauldron cakes, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, chocoballs, chocolate wands, choco-locos, and of course, chocolate frogs.
A graceful Korean waitress approached us.
"What can I get you all?" she asked kindly.
"Annyeonghaseyo!" Anna and I chorused, grinning.
She blinked in surprise. "Dangsin-eun hangug-eoleul algo issseubnida?" (You know Korean?)
"Ne!" we answered proudly.
I leaned forward, reading her name tag. "Jeon Ha-Rin?"
"Elsa Scamander," I introduced myself.
"Anna Scamander," my twin added.
"And these two grumpy ones are Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger," I said.
Ha-Rin beamed. "Place your orders and we'll chat more later."
