Dies 1V DAY FOUR

Short sleep again, not sure if I'll ever get over Earth's days & nights

Fell outa bed and I groaned loudly. Tin was making noises and my head throbbed. The night before I drank some red wine. Actually, I snuck into the bar room, yea Ma, oops, Mother had a special room for mainly drinkin. It looked extra posh with its golden carpet threads on the floor and mirror walls everywhere. Bottles of booze, I learnt that word from one of the young dude's Mother always had hanging about. This one was Asian and his name was Chen. He wasn't overly tall, but he had a super hot muscular bod. Eyes were slanted and black like his glossy black hair that hung down his back in a single plait. Chen was Mother's Martial Arts teacher. Boy could he move. He used to move into odd body twists and turns, that I found out was some type of spiritual yoga. Take last night for instance I walked into the room and he was sitting Buddha style about a metre above the top of the bar. A long glass of something was held in one hand and a candle was smoking sweet sickly stuff into the air, in the other. Mother was chatting to black and handsome, the same dude that she danced with before. I found out his name was John Vernon and he was her current fling. He was extra tall and built like a wrestler I spied on the tele. A strong handsome face with deep set eyes of brown, and he had lashes so long they hypnotised me the first time I gazed at him.

There were usually lots of young handsome men hanging around, most of the time they would gaze at Mother and sigh. She would occasionally give them a kiss or muss up their hair and you could see the ecstasy shinning out of their faces. As each one gazed in adoration at her, I kid you not the golden aura around her grew brighter. But as I have learned over my time with my parents a price had to be paid for most things. Whether it was a trick of the light in this room, but as Mother glowed brighter each one of the young men grew a little older. It was only miniscule, but it definitely changed them. Even tall dark and handsome appeared older, Chen didn't and I wondered whether it was because he used ancient Chinese Martial Arts most of the time when he was around her. Sorry I rambled about the dudes, but I had to tell you how I came to drink the red killer. Mother was dancing with John so I slid behind the bar and found this open bottle on a shelf. I was really thirsty. When entertaining, which she did a lot, Mother never bothered to see if I was okay. That was my excuse for what I did next, really, I couldn't say it was entirely my fault. I had to blame anyone else except me. I upended the bottle and gulped down the killer until Mother screamed blue murder at me and next minute I landed on my bed. And then my guts exploded and I just made it to the toilet before chucking up. My head was swooning by this stage so I threw the rest of my stomach contents into the bowl. It was blood red. Sweat poured off me as I staggered back to bed and died. When I say died, all life left my body and as I said died, dead. I was supposed to be immortal, but whatever it was I drank must have been deadly to our kind. This was the second time I died. All I know Pa and Ma were screaming at each other and they were giving me a lousier headache. The reason was they were both looming over me and Pa had just brought me back to life. The red stuff was some sort of poison that Ma used for killing bugs and things. She hated any little creepy crawlies and Pa was yelling and saying how she could be so careless.

'Do not blame me Diablo you, you devil. Of course, it's your entire fault. Do you hear me?' She screamed. Mother took a few deep breaths and then she jabbed Pa's chest. 'How could you give the child wine?' By this stage Ma started screaming again at Pa.

Pa had staggered back. He hadn't said a word in his defence.

'You are a monster to allow my child drink wine at her age. No wonder my baby girl drank it.'
