TEN.

Dies X/ Month Ten

My parents had gone to Grandpa's place for a conflab about me and my Experientia. They returned with sour faces. Well Ma had a sour face, Pa just looked very cross.

'You shouldn't have come. I told you I could handle it.' Ma almost shouted at Pa.

'What happened Pa?' I asked anxiously.

'We met other Celestials on a planet many light years from this place. I wanted to go to B62957. It is a small moon in another time zone on a place that nobody could spy on us as we conferred. Your stupid mother wouldn't agree, so we landed on planet Ferro. And then she told me why?' Pa took a few large breaths and glared daggers at her.

'I told your father I was pregnant with John's baby.' Ma began to cry.

Pa roared at her, 'How could you be so stupid to let him a human, impregnate you.'

Ma cried buckets. 'He, he, so wanted a baby his wife and child were killed in a car accident a few years before we met.'

'You really are only a child like your father said. How are you ever going to manage? Remember how before, he will look after it. I don't think so. You won't be able to run away like last time.'

'This time will be different I will be here and not down with you in that place.'

'You aint no spring chicken anymore and the kid will be mortal like its father.' Pa exploded again.

I had never heard so much venom in his voice ever. Ma was useless she just kept crying. Pa stopped and stared at her and then his face softened. He wrapped her in his arms and kissed her forehead.

'Do you want me to tell you its sex?' Pa asked.

Ma nodded between sniffs; she had graduated to huge sniffs.

Pa gently placed his hands on her stomach and waited. After a minute or so he grinned. 'You have certainly done it this time my dear. Baby healthy and you are going to have two boys and two girls.'

Ma fainted in Pa's arms. He carried her upstairs to her bedroom. He placed her gently on the bed removed her clothes with a blink of his eyes and she was dressed in one of her nightgowns. He popped her into bed and jumped in beside her. He waved to me and I found myself outside. Pa closed the door and then I couldn't help it I stood with my left ear to the door. All I heard was Ma sighing into Pa and him kissing her on by the sounds of her, everywhere ─!

So, I was going to be a big sister to not only Red but four others. Although they would be mostly human, they would have Celestial blood as well. Pa had been a bit rough with her, but it was nothing compared to the commotion with Grandpa. He dropped into Ma's place unannounced and screamed at her until she was a quivering mess. Grandpa stormed out and went to the school. He went into John's office and was in there for quite some time. When the door opened John was a ghastly grey color. Grandpa had done something to him because he was moaning and hanging onto his lower trouser pants as he limped out of the room. The only reason I knew all this was because I had sneaked into the office. One of my new powers was invisibility and it allowed me to hear Grandpa say he would make John a Eunuch. Grandpa had shrivelled up John's sac with a wave of his hand. All John felt was an excruciating pain in his lower section. He chucked up in his rubbish bin before he came out and told his secretary he was going home. We never saw him at Ma's place ever again. He didn't even know he was going to be a father. He never came back to the school. Grandpa certainly was a force to be reckoned with. No wonder Pa was terrified when Grandpa came for my big day. Also, John didn't actually know how this had been done to him because it was done so quickly and of course he being mortal was unable to gaze upon the apparition that was my Grandfather. I could see him in his Celestial Glory surrounded by a golden aura and the angels weren't far behind. You know that saying, "How many angels can you stack on a pin head," well by the look of these ones as they all squeezed into John's office, I'd say quite a few. But that's only a guess, ha, ha. Laughing allowed me to forget what Grandpa did to that poor human. I found out later on that what Grandpa did to John was only temporary. John met a woman and they had two boys that he sired.
