Morgan sat on a rather plush red couch and bit at her nails, her gaze very dark. Ethan was a constant thorn in her side. She just wanted him to cave, but the man had more willpower than she gave him credit for. He couldn't keep going like this, she knew that he had to cave sometime.

She wished that she could just put him under a compulsion and trap him that way but it wasn't going to work. No not with how resistant he was to magic. She'd tricked him long ago, that wasn't going to happen again. He'd thought Morgan his intended, she'd used magic to disguise herself. Her intention had been to marry him that way.

However he got wise to her plan and his brother had also noted something was wrong. Well his brother was paying for his messing with her plans as well. She hoped the bastard was in as much pain as Ethan was. She still remember that day. Ethan came straight to her and cornered her uncaring of her talents and abilities. She'd been scared of him, his anger what what she tried to do. He was a force to be reckoned with when angered or upset.

But then she remembered the pain that he'd caused her. How he'd said that he would never marry one like her. That she wasn't fit to be anyone's wife because she wanted a slave for a husband. Someone that would answer to her beck and call. He said that he hadn't loved her, that he couldn't love her and she needed to get over it. Find someone else that wouldn't mind the things she was capable of. He hadn't meant her talents either.

Oh the anger that had gone through her then. When she'd come to him disguised as his betrothed, she'd known she wanted only him at her side. She'd enjoyed the night she spent with him. The fact that she'd put the ring on his hand believing he would be hers. He'd been so different that night, and it made her want him more. Even if at the time she'd looked like another woman, and he'd ignored the signs.

Right then she'd wanted him to feel the pain she had at rejection when he'd shouted at her. She'd held the other ring and with deliberate malice she'd set the curse on him. Told him that he would be compelled to find a wife and want her with everything in him, but she would curse him and hate him. Want nothing of him and cause him more emotional pain than he could handle. She'd imbued the rings, and so it was set. He had still been wearing the one she'd put on him the night before. He hadn't stopped to take it off, and that had given her what she needed. The ring had already been imbued by her.

"You'll come to me because you can't take much more of it. I know you." Morgan grumbled getting up as she knew that she had guests. Ones that were powerful political figures and wanted to pay her for the things she could do and get them. She pushed Ethan from her thoughts for the moment. It would be a bit before the pain of the new woman set in. He just picked her, the magic needed to set in properly. Right now it would bring them together to help solidify the bond. Then the torment would begin anew, just like what Ethan did to her. One night of bliss, then everything would go to hell. She smiled at that, one of these times he'd break.

Ethan drove another car after they landed. Corin woke up a bit more alert and looking around them. She only woke in the car, she was completely passed out for the entire plane ride. He was sure she had no idea she was in another country.

"Where are we going?" She asked. She remembered him putting her in the car, and him kissing her. After that it was kind of fuzzy. Actually she still felt rather tipsy and there was a good feeling in her body, kind of an excited feeling. Like being near him was exciting for some reason.

"My house, our house I guess you'd say." She blinked. Their house? When did they have a house? Was she supposed to stay here with him on property. Did they discuss something about her working for him? Did she say that she'd come home with him?

That last thought worried her, oh no what if she had? She couldn't remember. He was a very good looking man. If he was half as good as he looked then she didn't doubt that she would enjoy herself but she didn't do that. He might be employing her. Jesus Corin what did you do? She battled with herself on just what she'd said yes to. The only real issue was if he was seriously employing her. Man she wished her brain would stop feeling to foggy drunk.
