Another night passed, and the struggle to find sleep remained.

You kept on waking up in the middle of the night, sometimes from random sounds frightening you, or even from a nightmare. It was exhausting you.

So, when you woke up for the final time, it was already morning. You sighed, groaning as you felt your forehead.

Getting dressed, you soon went outside to take a small stroll on your skateboard. Putting on some earbuds, you take our your phone and select a song to listen to. Strolls like these usually helped clear your mind, at least for the time being. You needed distractions, otherwise your mind couldn't focus on anything else.

However, these strolls sometimes gave you a pathway to drift off. You would sometimes close your eyes and let the skateboard guide you at a slow speed. The wind would pass by you effortlessly, and the music in your ears was almost therapeutic.

Your smile soon resurfaced, as you once again slip away from the present day into your calming state of mind. You let your skateboard take the lead, and slowly close your eyes. The music dancing in your head began to soothe your nerves.

Until, you began to open your eyes again, remembering to not crash into anything. That's when you see what's up ahead.

The same boy you met yesterday, walking to your left just up the path.

Your smile soon grew, feeling ecstatic. You began to call out, gaining his attention as you waved.

"Hey! Ranboo!"

Ranboo's pointed ears flicked at the sound of your voice, and a sway of excitement ran over him. He turned to you, stopping his tracks. He nervously smiled, waving back.

"Oh- H-Hey, (Y/N)..!"

You picked up the pace to catch up to him, and once you did, you hopped off your skateboard and stepped on it to pick it up.

"Wow, I never noticed until now how TALL you are! Well, that may be typical, since you said you're part endermen-"

Ranboo chuckled, shuffling the back of his head.

"Yeaaaah that's very true, heh!"

Ranboo took a breath, clenching his fists. He at least had to start some kind of conversation first.

"So, uh.. H-How are you liking L'manburg so far?"

You looked around as you responded, acknowledging all the fine works of art people have made in this land.

"It's honestly gorgeous! I really like how practically every building and structure has it's own flare and touch to it, like it's personal to someone. Nothing's just one bland color or the same structure, ya know?"

Ranboo smiled as you spoke, really taking a liking to your answer.

"Yeah.. I really like that kind of touch, too."

"Did you move here recently as well, Ranboo?"

"Uhh.. Kinda? I moved here about 2 months ago, but not like- days ago."
