Today, you felt better.

You slept on the roof that previous night, not bothering to get down and sleep on your bed. Your only pillow, was your hoodie.

You woke up to gentle chirps, as birds flew just up above you. The sun was just beginning to rise, and the dim pink sky saved your eyes from the blinding light.

In your arms was your mother's book, having fell asleep whilst clutching it like a stuffed animal. You felt so exhausted however, that you went in and out of falling back asleep. Eventually, the sunlight hit your eyes, and you were forced to get up.

Putting away the book, you take a deep breath. Your eyes slowly went back to it, staring.

'I don't know how much help I can be to figuring out this book, but I wanna try.'

Those words from him.. meant more than what it should to you.

So many people in your life either weren't willing to help you, or just couldn't find any way to solve the mystery of your mother's gift. It left you feeling empty, as if she was drifting away every passing day.

But those words from Ranboo made you have hope. He's given you more answers than a math test could. For that, you were majorly grateful.

However, today you wanted to spend time with him, since he was considered your best friend. Maybe make more friends here, too.

Soon, you were walking on the Prime Path, hoping to spot the enderman boy somewhere. You took a moment to admire all the flowers blooming around you.

"This time of year is really stunning.. All of these flowers look so lovely.."

A soft smile escaped your lips, letting a gentle breeze pass by the strings of your hair. You felt at peace, and continued walking.

Suddenly, you perk in curiosity at a distant case of laughter. The voice didn't seem recognisable.

Turning the corner, you followed the direction of the sound. The smile on your face rose to your cheeks, seeing someone familiar up ahead.

You start rushing to them, waving.

"Ranboo!! Good morning!"

Ranboo turns to you, his ears flicked with excitement. He waves back.

"Oh, (Y/N)! Good mor-"

"AAAAAA, WOMAN!!"

You stop for a moment, confused by this boy's words. A young teenager, with messy blonde hair and baby blue eyes, suddenly hid behind Ranboo. He looked at you with suspicion and intensity.

"Ranboo, we have to leave, we don't want the woman giving cooties."

"Tommy, calm the hell down. They're not gonna give us cooties. 'And don't say woman, let them speak for themselves.'"

Ranboo whispered the last part, then smiles, walking up to you with a gentle posture. The boy behind him looks at him with shock and betrayal, and your smile rises again when Ranboo approaches.
