At the Start if it All

*3rd Person POV*

     Y/n went to school an hour early because her friend Becca needed to finish an essay due in 5th period later that day. They agreed to meet in the library. As y/n headed to the library she passed by the Boy's Gym where she saw the Boy's Volleyball Team practicing. She looked for her crush Ushijima Wakatoshi, Shiratorizawa's 3rd year Captain. She passed by slowly so she could look at him a little longer. Y/n was also a 3rd year, she had a crush on Wakatoshi since her 1st year. They had a couple classes together over the years and even worked on a couple projects together but that was the extent of their relationship. Y/n wishes she could have gotten closer to Wakatoshi but she was shy around boys especially a hottie like him.

Y/n was a freak on the inside. She always fantasized about Ushijima doing naughty things to her. Whether she was eating, bored in math class, or listening to music on the train ride home, she thought about how she wanted to get RAILED by this man. Y/n had an inside joke with Becca where she would put her wrists together and out in front of her to pretend like she wanted to be handcuffed whenever Ushijima or another cute guy would pass by. She made this joke after she went with her class to the police station for a field trip. She was tempted to volunteer to be handcuffed by police but since she didn't have close friends in her class she just stood back crying on the inside as some other boy got handcuffed by the cute officers. This would make Becca laugh and slightly be embarrassed because y/n would do it in public. Y/n reassured Becca it was okay since other people weren't in on the joke. This was the extroverted side of y/n, the one who didn't care if she made a fool of herself as long as she was with a close friend. She got a major serotonin boost when she made people laugh, to her friends she was super funny, sometimes shy and blunt. Anyone else that didn't know y/n only saw her introverted side, the shy and awkward, stand-off-ish girl. It was alright though y/n didn't like to have a lot of friends anyways. She preferred a deeper relationship with one person than shallow relationships with many others. She talked to people in her classes some she would even consider a friend but that's as far as those relationships went.

     As for her love life, it was nonexistent. She never even kissed a boy, yet she was over here thinking about Ushijima railing her day in and day out. That's just how she was, she even used to say "do you wanna see the good y/n or the bad y/n" to people when she was younger. People thought it was funny but look how she turned out now. It's kinda like her alter ego, the person she wants to be but her having to be the good child for her parents she tried not to do anything that got her in trouble. She also had commitment issues so whenever she would like a guy and they would like her back she would get so nervous she'd lose feelings for them and break it off before anything even began.

     As y/n was peeking through the open gym doors Satori Tendo, the red-headed middle blocker, pointed at her as he was talking to Wakatoshi. Before she could turn away Wakatoshi saw y/n looking right at him. She quickly turned her head away and kept a steady walking pace as to not be suspicious.

*Ushijima's POV*

Tendo told me a girl was "checking me out" so when I went to see who he was talking about, I saw a girl I'd always see around campus. She was cute. I've had multiple classes with her over the years and she would even let me copy her homework when I would forget to do mine. If it wasn't for times like that I would have thought she was a bitch. At first glance she just looks mad all the time, she puts off this aura that scares people off. If I wasn't the same way I'd have been like everyone else and not even bothered to talk to her but since she had friends in the class we had together our 1st year, she laughed a lot and was overall more social with others.

"That girl's always looking at you!" Tendo whispered loudly.

"No she doesn't" I replied back.

"I think she likes youuu" he said nudging my shoulder.

"She was probably looking at someone else" I said.

"Why are you in denial? A lot of girls like you pluuuus I'm surprised you even responded back to me. You usually don't pay attention to me when I tell you a girl likes you. DOES USHIWAKA HAVE A CRUUUSH?!" Tendo yelled loudly to where the rest of the team clearly heard him.

The other boys looked towards us and started to whisper to one another.

"Shut Up. Let's get back to practice." I said trying to dodge the question.
