The silence was nice more so being by herself was nice..hearing the trees move in the wind and the birds chirp in the distance while the hot sun traced  her skin it was the days like this that made her think that maybe he wasn't a bad person and it was a mistake a simple harmless mistake that could be brushed over

It was the fourth time in the past two months that the "mistake " would happen and her mother was dumb enough to believe it was just a mistake

The yelling the fighting the screaming at each other to try and put the blame on the other and it all end the same way

"I'm sorry "

It wasn't her father who would apologize no it was her mother who placed food on the table and paid the bills and did whatever she could to make him happy

But I guess that wasn't enough for him
*
"Y/n this is the third time you've been late this week " she complained, that's all she ever did

"I know I know m'sorry I just keep sleeping in "

There was a reason for every time she was late but if she said it then people would pitty her,she didn't like it she felt weak when people put pitty on her

"Well alright you sleep in again I might just have to wake you up myself " she joked as she waved her hands in the air telling her it was clear to leave

Getting up out of the creaky wooden chair that was sure to give you slivers twisted the metal handle and shuffling it the door and into another she sat in the back of the class to be by herself but she never was

Accompanied by the same boy everyday the boy with the rip in his dark blue jeans and his messy eyebrow that never laid flat

Every once and a while he's have a cut or two on his lip or his hand she knew his was a fighter he didn't seem like a good one

She paid attention to him but she didn't want anyone to know she did so that entailed  quick glances at what he wore or if he had gotten ruffed up the night prior

"Y/n you listening ?" A tall woman coaxed from the front of the class making a few people turn

"Yes ma'am " sitting up slightly straighter

"Alrighty...so that's" her voice drowned out once more as she observed the window with birds on the ledge

Her eyes quickly landed on the boy in Front of her
The boy with the gelled hair and the Jean jacket

She stared a little longer then looked towards the front

He looked like a nice man wasn't too tall nor short he was a good lookin boy better then the ones who thought they were better then everybody

She knew he lived close, closer then she liked it would often make her wonder if he heard the fighting

Lunch break was okay most of the time only when she didn't get pestered by the gene and his candy ass Friends

Adjusting the bag on her shoulder while walking down the crowded halls

The chatter was loud it practically bounced off the walls and slammed into everyone's ears

Finally out of what seemed like hell she took off to a tree that was farther away from the school

The day seemed slower sluggish really but it was a nice day the kind of day where your parents would take you to the beach or for ice cream but that wasn't what was going to happen
