"WE GOT the box." Inilapag ng officer ang isang folder at binuklat iyon sa harapan niya.

Nasa meeting room ulit siya matapos ipatawag ng opisyal na hiningan niya ng pirmiso para makausap si René.

Sunset saw every page and remember every detail of it. How she killed the senator. Why and where.

"I'm impressed that we can't find anything from this all even one handprint from you. You worked really clean," anang officer at sumandal sa upuan at tinitigan siya.

Nanatili naman siyang tahimik at hindi nagsasalita.

"Now, one question and we will grant your request to have a short talk with Orasis."

Tilting her head to the left, Sunset gave a curt nod.

"What's your relationship with Orasis? Elaborate it."

Sunset tsked while shaking her head. "Haven't one of your bosses chatted about my relationship with René? I'm his favorite woman in exchange for that, I made sure his comfort."

"Doesn't seem like it when we were able to get some footage of you and Orasis having a short conversation."

Tumikyas ang isang kilay ni Sunset. "A short conversation will not give you even a spoon of shit."

Sinamaan siya ng tingin ng lalaki. "But we saw that you two are not fun of each other. With those glares and sneers, you shot at each other you two are far from what we expected. Romantic and sweet."

"Psychos' are not interested in romantics and sweets. You have to know that officer."

"Yeah, we know that. So, if you're not in for romance what are you in with? Bed warmer could maybe one but aside from that?"

Sinuklay ni Sunset ang buhok gamit ang mga daliri. These people will not stop, eh?

"I burn the dead." Malamig niyang turan.

"Dead? You referring to his victims?" Nagtagis ang bagang nito.

Sunset pinned her gaze on the table. Inwardly erasing ghastly memories of the few times she was forced to take care of the corpse. "Yeah..."

Nag-tsk ang opisyal saka umiling. "Such a stone heart you have."

"Yeah," Sunset stood up. "Life was hard. A heart so soft as a muffin will not survive, it will rot and eventually break down. Stoned heart will survive, scars will be there but hey, it lasts longer."

"Stones heart could be thrown in the dark, lost and forgotten woman," anito. "And that is what will happen to you. You will be forever here underground where sunset will never be part of your life aside from being your name. You'll be forgotten by many."

"No one knows me, officer..." Sunset offered a hallow smile. "So no one will forget about me."

Nagbuga ito ng hangin saka tumayo at kinuha ang folder. "Follow me. Ten minutes."

Sunset slyly smiled.

Aah... It's been a while René.

Tahimik siyang sumunod sa opisyal at ilang minuto rin silang naglalakad hanggang sa huminto sila sa isang pintuan.

"Every discussion you have is recorded. Surveillance is on too." Imporma nito saka binuksan ang pintuan.

With her face void of any emotion, Sunset entered the room and as soon as she saw René looking so pathetic, she laughed.

Her laughter was so loud and full of fun. Mockery was palpable and she knew it boils a blood.

Oh damn... It's so good to laugh.
