"So, what are we like as fathers?" Declan asked.

Gabrielle smiled, "You guys are pretty great at the whole father thing,"

"Yeah, you're wonderful at being dads in your own individual ways," Kendall continued.

Estelle looked at Bennett, "And you all taught us important life lessons,"

"Like what?"

Bennett spotted her barely reading the words on a page. Something was on Estelle's mind, she had been quieter than usual at dinner, and he intended to find out.

"What's wrong, love?" he sat beside her on the couch, kissing her hair. She flashed him a small smile before sighing.

Bennett knew Estelle would tell him eventually. He trusted her completely. He just needed to have a little patience.

"Nothing much," she waved him off. She then stopped short. Maybe he could help.

"It's just that I'm torn between doing what's easy and what's right. I feel like a coward for taking the easy way out, but I don't think I can do what's right."

Bennett looked at her, "If you know what's right, it shouldn't be a choice,"

Estelle sighed, knowing this much was true. She fiddled with the bookmark. "I know, Dad. It's just... I don't think I'm brave enough to stand alone,"

Bennett zoned out for a moment. Flashes came back, the words, the hurt, the anger. All he wanted to do was protect them. He had to do what was right. He had to do it alone. He couldn't live with himself if he didn't make a choice. That choice.

"You need to lead with integrity," he said, quoting what someone had told him years ago.

Estelle looked up at him, slightly confused. Bennett continued.

"Integrity Estelle is about choosing courage over comfort; choosing what is right over what is fun, fast or easy; it's about practising values rather than simply professing them," he pointed at Estelle.

"It's about being honest with yourself."

Estelle looked at him in awe. Her dad always knew what to say to her and when to say it. She loved him for it.

"So, I should be honest no matter what?"

"Yeah,"

"Well then, I think nows the time to tell you I was the one who spilt the drink all over your car seats," she said sheepishly.

Bennett exhaled, closing his eyes. He opened them and smiled at Estelle. "That's okay, Elle,"

"Thanks, Dad, that means a lot," she smiled.

"Awww, that brought a tear to my eye," Jordan said, breaking the focus. "Uncle Bennett, why can't you comfort me like that?" he looked at Bennett with puppy dog eyes which did not affect Bennett.

Bennett just smacked his arm.

"Dad, you have your own wise words too,"

"Really? Like what?"

Kendall walked into her father's studio, dropping her bag at her feet to announce her arrival. Her dad was working on his newest art piece. He was in the zone to work.

Kendall sighed, hoping to get her father's attention. He didn't budge. She sighed again louder. Jordan smiled to himself. He then turned around, wiping paint off his hands.
