He stands on the stage beside all of the men and he looks out at the crowd, they're all sitting with their phones up with their cameras on. Jungkook sighs.
His name is called and he smiles walking forwards to stand on the line. Then it is Taehyung who follows after him and three more men.
It was time for the questions the thing he detested the most, he had to quickly give a precise and intelligent answer yet at times he might not even know what some questions would be.
"Alright when there will be a box and you young men will come to grab a card, each one will correspond to a different Judge. This will test your well-thought answers and the confidence in you to become a global ambassador for the United States. You will have thirty seconds to answer your questions, if you do not answer in time a bell will ring." He says and they nod, knowing the system already.
"Can we please have Mr. Massachusetts come up here and pick the first card?" Jungkook does he goes and he grabs the card and he sees the number.
"Number one." He says into the microphone and a judge picks up her microphone.
"There are many protests outside at this moment, saying that men should not do these pageants because it gives others a sense of femininity. This is causing them to look like they are gay. Convince them that they are wrong." The judge says and Jungkook sighs. He smiles.
"I believe that there are two sides of a man, there is a manly side and then there is this side of femininity. We share this side when we are emotional or when we have an interest in a woman or man. Men can be vulnerable and some do like to compete in these pageants. But that does not mean in any way that we are setting standards for who men are and what stereotypes should be put up upon them. Every man is different and they will always be, that is what makes us all one in a million. Thank you." He says, softly he hears everyone clapping before walking back to where he stands.
Taehyung is next, microphone in his hand and he picks up a card.
"Number Twenty-Two." He says softly and another judge picks up her mic.
"What would you say to the young boys and girls who are watching this pageant and are currently being abused in any way there is?" Taehyung puts the microphone to his mouth.
"I would first start with, I admire your bravery for being strong. I have been in the same place that many of have you have been. But that will not mean that you will be defied by it. You are who you are and no man or woman can ever change that." He says into the microphone and the others clap.
Other men go after him and they listen to their answers, they are all so well thought. Confident.
"Now that we have asked you your questions. We had challenged you to study some topics. You will pick a card about a topic and make a quick thirty-second statement. Massachusetts please come and pick your card." They say and Jungkook walks up, feeling the spotlight on him he picks out a card.
