They sit across each other, in Jimin's apartment. The lavish floor is beautiful, it's decorated with white furniture. The perfect shade of gray on the walls, a television in the middle.

Jungkook hums as he eats the Chinese Takeout. "Nice apartment." He says softly and Jimin looks at him.

"Thanks, I got it a while after moving here." He says and he takes a bite of his food.

"Where did you stay in the meantime?"

"I stayed with a friend of Yoongi's, I slept on his couch for a few months." He says, Jungkook nods while looking around.

"Heard your friend got engaged to the billionaire." Jungkook nods as he eats.

"Yes, he had. He's a lawyer now." Jungkook whispers and Jimin nods.

"I also heard you cheated." Jimin mutters and Jungkook looks at him, "You lied." Jimin says and Jungkook nods.

"You might've been a thief, but you taught me how to be selfless when I needed to be. Taehyung needed that crown more than I did, plus. A crown does not defy who I am." He whispers and Jimin chuckles, he looks down at his food.

"I missed you." He whispers and Jungkook looks at him.

"I missed you too." Jimin shakes his head.

"Not like I did, they had to wait for me to step inside the plane. I stood their thirty minutes contemplating if I should go or not." He says softly.

"They had to kick me out of the airport." Jimin chuckles, a crooked smile on his face.

"What did you miss the most?" He asks.

"Late night adventures, kisses, food with you, going to the park, watching you play with the children. When we'd go to the All You Can Eat restaurants and then we'd have to stuff our pockets full of wings and shrimp so that we wouldn't have to pay extra because we had ordered too much food. I missed everything." He says and Jimin smiles.

"I sound like a Prince Charming don't I? I would love myself too." He says and stands up to grab a wine bottle and two cups.

"You sound like a narcissist."

"I'm not kidding, I'd die for me too."

"That's suicide." Jimin chuckles and he pours himself some wine.

"So."

"So?" Jungkook echoes.

"Thirty." Jimin scoffs.

"At least, I still look decent. A few days ago I had gone to a grocery store and three women came up to me and they asked for my number. One was 18, the other 25, and the last one 50." He says snuggly while fixing his button-up shirt, Jungkook pours himself some wine and Jimin takes it from him.

"I'm over the age of 21." He says and a hand a placed on his cheek, it's rough. Yet he still finds warmth within it, comfort. He looks at Jimin who is already staring at him.

"You don't look a day over 15, you know when I hadn't met you in person yet. I would hear everyone speak about this Korean Beauty here and there. Little girls would gush over you, when I saw you I finally found out why everyone seemed to be fucking wrapped around your finger. You were too beautiful beyond existence. It almost scared me if I'm honest, you seemed so...unreal. Innocent." He says and Jungkook takes the glass from him and he drinks the wine.

"How long has it been since you last slept with someone? Be honest with me." Jungkook asks and Jimin raises a brow.

"August 28th, three years ago." He says and Jungkook closes his eyes. Resting his head on his hand. "What about you?"

"A few weeks ago." Jungkook whispers and the latter raises his brows, Jungkook looks at him. "I tried to forget you. None of them were good like you, made me full. Pleasured me as you did. Every time I just came back to you." It was Newton's law after all.

"Jimin?"

"Yes." He asks without a question mark. Jungkook looks at him.

"Show me how much you love me. Let me believe that this time what we might have is real." And standing up the latter grabs his hand.

"I'll show you how much I missed you." He whispers and he kisses him.

•••

When he wakes up, a phone ringing. He answers it without seeing the name.

"Hello?"

"Hey." It's Jimin, he looks to his side and he doesn't find him there. "Are you sleeping?" Jungkook yawns.

"Yeah, I'm sleeping talking." He says sarcastically and Jimin chuckles. "Where are you?" He asks and he hears him shuffle around.

"I'm outside the front door, but I forgot my keys inside. Can you open the door?" Jungkook hums, hissing when he stands up he opens the door to find Jimin who is carrying some bags.

He sets them on the table before turning around to place a kiss on his forehead.

"Did you sleep well?" He asks and Jungkook nods the latter hums before going to sit down on a stool.

"I shouldn't forgive you so easily." He says quietly and Jimin stops. "But I can't stop loving you and I want to be with you. Stupidly. I know." He says. He looks at Jimin who is staring at him.

The latter walks towards him, he grabs his hand and they hold them. Together.

"Let's do something. A year, give me a year. I'll show you how much I love you. I mean it. Why don't we start again? This time we'll do it slowly. Try something new, let me love you. Please. If we don't work out this year, then we should accept our fate, but if we do. Then great, your mind, and I'm yours. How does that sound?" He whispers and Jungkook looks at him nodding.

"I'd love that." He whispers, nodding as they pull each other into a hug. Jimin kisses him again. Slowly, lips moving in rhythm. They kiss like they never had before, every time their lips meet it's a new foreign feeling and they love it too much.

At that moment, in that minute. They stand in the kitchen in each other's arms.

It was only him and Jimin.

Jimin and Jungkook.

Jungkook and Jimin.
