Three years later (again).

"Can you hand be the ball," Jungkook asks, Jimin gives it to him. Jimin grabs some pizza boxes and he sets them on the table before looking around to play with the football he found on the ground juggling it with his foot.

"Who's going to pick up the cake?" Jungkook asks.

"We did." They look to their side finding Taehyung with a box, the birthday cake in his hands. Jungkook rushes towards him and he grabs it before putting it on the table.

"Thank you." He sighs out. Taehyung grins.

"No problem."

"We're here motherfucker! And I'm fucking hungry!" They turn around to find Jake, the boy is twenty-two now (unfortunately), he was even more out of control than he was years ago and now it had just become worst.

"Shut up, I get tired of you screaming you fat ass," Jimin says smacking him and Jake looks at his ass.

"I'd take it as a compliment, but I'm offended to see you making fun of my flat ass." He says and they all look at his ass.

"It isn't flat," Yoongi says, Jake scoffs.

"Honey, I'm flatter than a pancake." They all flinch, somehow their features look pained.

"He got that from his father." His mother says and she walks while holding Dan's hand.

The surprise, the two had announced they were dating two years ago after his mother and Tom had filed for a divorce. They had both cheated on each other. He still found their age gap odd, but who was he to speak when he was with a man 9 years older than him.

"It's pretty flat. Sorry love." Layla says, as she struts through the yard. A dress hugging her perfect hourglass body, she takes off her glasses. Still looking as young as ever. It surprises Jungkook.

How both Layla and his mother still don't look a day over thirty even when they are in their fifties. Youth eventually fades yet for them it hasn't.

After years, Jimin and Layla had seen each other again at an event Porsche had been hosting. They became friend, told each other about their lives.

Liam, the boy he had helped (the boy helped him too in some weird way), was sixteen. He had already won Mister Teen USA and honestly it had scared Jimin.

To see how time had passed by so fast. It made him feel old, though his youth was still there.

"Look who's awake," Jimin says picking up Tyler from the couch, the two-year-old stares at them in curiosity and then at the people around him.

"Birthday?" He asks and Jungkook nods before carrying him.

"It's your birthday baby." He says softly while kissing his cheek.

"I can't fucking believe it." They hear Jake's day and they turn around, "I stand here looking like a fucking donkey, and that kid already got all the girls swarming over him. Look at him, he's like you two." He says.

"He got it from me." He and Jungkook day; Jungkook chuckles, ignoring how Jimin and his younger brother start arguing over who is the most handsome.

He walks around looking at his family as they sit while eating the food, the Compton breeze against his skin. He closes his eyes and he feels arms wrapped around his, the cold metal of a ring is felt on his skin.

"What are you thinking about?" Jimin asks him and Jungkook looks at him.

"How happy it is to be with you and everyone I love." He whispers and Jimin chuckles while kissing his cheek.

"I'm happy too." He says softly. "Now come on let's have some fun."

•••

He finds himself upstairs later that afternoon. The moon is up and the stars are shining. Outside there is a bonfire, yet he finds himself in his bedroom in front of his mirror while staring at his body, the others are already wearing theirs. Everyone had decided to sleep the night over.

There are faint stretch marks over his stomach, expanding to his hips. He touches them and he smiles when he sees the scar on his stomach from the C-section. He walks to his closet and he takes out some pajamas, putting them on, and when he finishes the door opens.

"What do you want." He asks Jake who walks inside, the latter places an ice cream on the vanity and he leaves. Running down the stairs.

Jungkook stares at the ice cream and for the first time, he grabs it. He doesn't throw it, instead, he opens the ice cream popsicle, he sits on his bed. And he eats it. Loving the taste of the chocolate with the almonds, tasting so sweet against the vanilla.

He almost cries then and he doesn't know why he wants to cry, but he manages not to.

"There you are." He looks up and he finds Jimin who is carrying Tyler in his arms, the boy is sleeping. His cute mouth open. Jimin sits beside him on the bed and Jungkook rests his head on Jimin's shoulder.

"I love you." He whispers and he sees him smile.

"I love you too. So fucking much." Jimin says and they look at each other, Jimin pecks his lips. And they both look out the window in silence, from there they can see the others sitting by the bonfire laughing at something Jake has said and they smile. A tear slips past Jungkook's eyes.

He feels Jungkook hold his hand.

This is it. What he wanted.

He didn't care if he was a loser or winner. He only cared about being with him and his son. That was it, that was all.

There was an irony, it made Jungkook see how much he had grown. How much he had matured.

Twenty years ago he had promised himself that he'd never marry an older man than him. Yet he did, fell in love with him the moment he had seen him without none of them noticing the special bond they'd share over the years.

Who would've thought, a handsome mechanic and the beauty he would get to see for the rest of his life. Love and cherish for the years coming.
