Chapter 1

Y/n Pov

I was walking down the mountain with wood to sell cause my family lives in the mountain so they send me to sell for them but my siblings are still to young do it and I don't want them getting hurt. As I reached the village I sold all the wood my father chopped up I then earn some money so we can eat. I always had a problem with my noise I can smell scent from long distance (Like Tanjiro) it was weird but I kept on going on. I then walked back up the mountain to my family which only took me until night was here but when I reached the my home I saw the door open so I went to check and I saw a horrible sight I was only 15 and this has happen I saw a demon eating my family I then covered my mouth not to make a sound but when I stepped back the floor made a noise and I ran back outside but the demon came and attack me I then found my fathers axe and held it against it's mouth I started screaming for help but nobody could hear me so I was on my own. I kept on fighting and the demon has scratched me a couple times but I knew I would be dead, I gain all my strength back up and pushed him off of me. I then kicked him which really did nothing, he then kicked me I hit the tree, I stood right back up and he charged right at me. I slit his throat which he healed and I was yet again pinned to the ground. I started yelling for help again until I heard foot steps. I thought more demons, I'm going to be doomed for sure until the demon was off of me. I then saw two boys fighting fighting on my side and it looked really cool but I was still shocked on what just had happen. When they killed the demon they came towards me but I just walked back a little and they noticed I then hissed in pain and the black hair boy took my arm and looked at it he then said...

???: Sabito we should take her back to Mr. Urokodaki she is injured.

Sabito: Okay then lets hurry before he yells at us for leaving training.

Before they did I went back in my house and to see if any of them were alive. None. I then went out and they already made the graves for them and they started helping me bury my family. After we finished I then prayed for them and the black hair guy took my hand and started leading me somewhere it was near my home we then found a house which I think that's were the guy they speak of lives. We then entered and the guy with a red mask kind of freaked me out but the Sabito guy explained the whole story on why I am here and what happened he then nodded and wrapped some bandages around my arms and he handed me a bowl of food which he told me to eat slowly, I started eating until I saw him pull out a futon and he said...

Mr. Urokodaki: You may rest here.

I nodded and finished my food and I laid down and closed my eyes I was out like a light.

Next morning.

In the morning I saw Mr. Urokodaki and I sat up and he saw me awake he then handed me some food and I started eating it was really good I then looked around to notice the others are gone I then said.

Y/n: Excuses me where are the boys?

Mr. Urokodaki: They are training to become demon slayers.

Y/n: Oh.

Mr. Urokodaki: Well since I can tell you will be leaving, do you mind if you brought their food for them they didn't bother to eat they got up early to train so do you mind?

Y/n: Sure after all they did to save my life.

Mr. Urokodaki: Good to hear.

I then got up took the food and went to their training ground and saw them with their katana's I then went up to them and they looked at me and I said.

Y/n: Mr. Urokodaki said to bring you your food...

Sabito: Thanks also forgot to mention my name is Sabito.

???: My name is Giyuu Tomioka.

Y/n: I'm Y/n L/n nice to meet you.

I then handed them their food and right about when I about to leave Giyuu said.

Giyuu: Where you going?

Y/n: home...

Giyuu: You want us to walk you home?

Y/n: I will be fine.

I then started walking back to my house thinking I remembered the days when I first got my katana. I always wanted to become a demon slayer until I thought maybe I should help around with my family more. So I told the master that I will be taking a break from it, he allowed me, he also told me to call my crows name if I needed something. As I was thinking I then realized I have been training for a long time now and I have seen a demon eat my family and looked helpless upon them, if only I had, had my katana. I then was back in my house and I took my katana out of its case and I went to my training room and started practicing even more to protect myself. I then came to conclude I went outside and yelled to the sky.

Y/n: RAVANA!!!

My crow came back and I saw how lovely she/he (You choose if it is a girl or boy) is I then took a note and said.

Y/n: Take this to the master.

Ravana: Okay.

She/He then we was off I do remember the times I would come home bloody from an attack and my parents would always worry about me. 

(But as some weeks went by you, Giyuu, and Sabito were close friends but mainly you and Giyuu were closer)

As I was walking to Sabito and Giyuu's trainging grounds I saw Giyuu trying to cut his rock and Sabito already cut his rock I then smiled and and he came over to me and hugged me I was worried about them though but I didn't show it. Then Ravana came back and dropped a letter in my hand I read it.

"Dear Y/n
I got your message and I'm glad to hear you wanted to join us again I will make sure your crow is with you anyway please stay safe. 
From: Kagaya"

I then put the letter away and the others were starring at me confused.

Y/n: What?

Sabito: I never you knew you had a crow to send letters?

Y/n: Hehe I do I just haven't called him/her in away.

Giyuu: What does it say?

Y/n: Oh it was from my aunt she was asking how I was doing.

Sabito: Well at least you have some family members still alive to take care of you.

Y/n: Yep.

I then walked back down back to my house and ravana came back and said.

Ravana: Caw caw you have a mission in (insert village.)

I then put on my uniform and grabbed my katana and I then said.

Y/n: Moon breathing. Form 1 Moon speed.

I then ran so fast that nobody can see me, I reached the village which took 20 minutes. I then stopped and looked around to see some people talking about how boys went missing every night. I went in an alley way to smell a demon and I followed the trace or source of the smell until night time, I then saw the demon it was about to eat that little boy until I ran at it and cut its head really quickly. I then rolled my eyes on how easy that was and the demon was weak. I then picked the little boy up and returned him back home I then used my form 1 to go back home which also took 20 minutes and I was right in my house I then changed to act like nothing has happen and fell asleep.
