A tear fell from her eye as the news made its way into her head.

She'd be getting married to a prince from realms away. And she already had a prince in her heart but she couldn't be with him now. The wedding was set for a few days away and she couldn't bear to have to tell her prince.

Her knees were tucked into her chest and her arms holding her legs up to her. Sat right next to the open balcony in the golden palace of Asgard. She could see the whole planet from her room.

Admiring the beautiful land she would soon have to leave for her new husband.

The tears rolled down her cheeks as her whimpers lightened at the sight of the glorious gold village. In the distance, many little lights and golden-yellow fires lit up every other corner and street.

"Y/n?" A soft low voice called from behind her. She gulped hard then turned to her prince who had worry and pain through their eyes. She turned to face them and let her tear-stained face speak.

A hitched sigh escaped from their lips and Loki walked up to the girl.

"When is it, my love?" their arms wrapped around the sobbing girl's body.

"Set in 3 days from now," She whimpered, hugging them back. "I don't want to, but my father said it was definite." She dug her face into their chest.

"I know you don't, I know." They comforted her by holding her close and kissing her head softly. Loki couldn't help but feel tears weld up in their own eyes. Lightly biting their lip to stop the floodgates from spewing out and worrying the girl more about the wedding.

"Loki, I wanna stay with you. I wanna be with you." She whispered to him.

"As do I, darling," Loki mumbles into her hair. Feeling tears fog up the vision they tried to keep on the princess of their dreams who was soon to be someone else's.

Then something hit. As they were both living the final touches of loving contact they would have before she was off. Something hit Loki.

"Y/n you don't have to go to the wedding." their lips pulled out of her hair and moved back. She looked up at him with a confused look on her face while sniffling.

"What do you mean?"

"You shouldn't be going to a wedding if you're already married." they grinned raising an eyebrow. Her eyes widened.

"Do you really mean it?" she sniffles sitting up to see them better.

"Anything. If it means I get to keep you." Their lips kissed her forehead and their hands touched her face. Holding it in their large hands.

"I love you Loki," she whispered, smiling at the indirect proposal.

"I love you too, my queen." their lips kissed hers softly. Both of them holding one another close and tight. Never wanting to ever come close to losing each other ever.

Y/n's hands wrapped around Loki's torso and held them close. Loki's separated ways on her body, one hand holding her cheek with the other holding her waist.

"Come with me, I might know someone who can help us do this now." Loki looked into her eyes so deep with their own. "Come on dear." Hands were taken and the two left the young girl's chambers to the main hall.

"Where are we going Loki?" Y/n asked as her prince dragged her through the palace halls with her hand in theirs.

"To see my mother." Loki smiled back at the girl. Her smile grew a bit larger.
