This is a bit new for me. Writing about a different character of Tom's. So bear with me I suppose. And as usual. I hope you all like it!

The young maiden was beautiful, intelligent, and witty. All things deemed so vulnerable for Sir Thomas Sharpe to use.

"Let's get out of the house for a bit," he whispered into his wife's ear while gently kissing her neck. She was standing by the stove, stirring up a pot of oatmeal.

"That would be nice," she giggles, turning to look at her husband. He kisses her lips and she hums a joyous satisfaction back into his. "I feel a great need to get out of this house." She mumbles. Thomas chuckles and kisses her cheek.

"Good morning." Lucille said blankly while entering the kitchen. Setting an empty pitcher of water by the sink on her way in.

Thomas coughs, "Well then, we'll head out after breakfast." He winks at the girl. She smiles.

"Good morning Lucille!" She hums sweetly, turning to the sister of her husband. Lucille eyed down her brother as he left the kitchen with an unsettled look on his face.

"Where are you both off to?" She asked, concerned.

Thomas stopped at the doorway and turned to his sister. "The post office. Getting out a little might make Y/n feel a bit better."

Lucille's expression tightens and she just tilts her head down as a nod.

"We'll be off soon dear." Thomas directs his final phrases towards his wife before leaving the kitchen. She nods and brings her breakfast off the stove.

Hours later the couple arrived at the post office to pick up some things for Sir Thomas's work.

A few letters and papers. As well as a few package parts for his machine. "A few things for you Mrs. Y/n Sharpe." A man behind the counter pulls her away from her distracted husband.

"Oh thank you," she smiles at the man as he hands her a small stack of letters. A few things about the wedding, 'thank you' letters, and an odd one from Milan?

She took a better look at the items before being interrupted by another post worker.

"Y/n! Hello dear!" The old man says.

"Mr. Charles! It's great to see you!" She smiles looking up from the letters.

"Are you heading out soon?" The man asks.

"I believe so, yes. My husband is just down there checking some packages." She points in his direction.

"There is no way you should travel up to that peak in this snow! It's absolutely devastating out there." He informs the girl. Over all the ruckus, Thomas walks back over to his wife.

"Good evening Mr. Charles." He announces walking over to the two.

"Thomas, Mr. Charles here was informing me about the snow outside. He's saying we might not be able to get back to the house." She passes the information on to her husband.

"Oh, well there isn't a place we could stay-" Thomas tries to ramble on.

"Oh nonsense! We can arrange a spare room here! We have one open." Mr. Charles insists. Young y/n gives Thomas a sympathetic smile to consider the offer.
