Don't wanna talk

''Hey Winn. Hey James.''

''Hi Kara.'' Winn gave Kara a wave and went to talk to the others.

'' Hey '' James hugged Kara and stopped short when he saw Lena sitting on the couch.

''Alex ... Lena'' He said, and the girls gave him a short nod as a form of greeting.

The tension was tick and everyone could sense it. Winn as always came to the save by breaking the silence.

''So, is Ruby and Sam coming? I promised Ruby I'd be her partner tonight.''

''Yes, they're coming.'' Kara told him, going to sit where she was before on the floor.

Lena without really looking at James, went to the kitchen to pour herself some wine. She didn't notice James until he was leaning on the sink close to her.

''Are you going to talk to me?'' James asked her, keeping his voice low so no one else could hear.

Lena ignored him and went to put the wine back in the fridge.

''C'mon Lena, talk to me.'' He said a little bit louder.

Lena, seeing that everyone had heard this time, answered him. ''James, I believe we've already talked about everything.''

''No, we didn't. C'mon Lena, just hear me out.'' He said annoyed. He got in front of her, keeping her from going back to the living room.

Lena sighed heavily and kept her voice calm and cool ''James, you really don't want to do this here. I already said everything I had to say. So, leave me alone.''

She made her way back and sat beside Kara.

''Is everything ok?'' Kara asked her so only her could hear.

Lena didn't say anything, just gave a quick smile and a nod.

There was a knock on the door and Alex got up to answer it. Opening the door, the delivery boy gave her the food, and she paid him. When she was going to close it, Sam appeared.

'' Hey Alex '' Sam said, hugging Alex and then going inside.

''Hi everyone.'' Sam greeted them, closing the door while Alex took the pizza and put it on the coffee table.

'' Hi '' " Hey '' Everyone replied warmly.

''Where's Ruby?'' Winn asked from the couch.

''Oh,sorry Winn. She had a sleep-over at a friend's house. She asked me to apologize to you and tell you that next Friday she'll be here to partner up with you.'' Sam explained to him.

''Oh man!'' He whined.

''So what are we playing tonight?'' Sam asked from the couch where she sat beside Winn.

''Well how about Monopoly?!'' James suggested from beside Alex, sitting on the arm of the sofa.

''How 'bout Pictionary?'' Kara asked instead. ''I hate Monopoly''

''That's because you always lose darling.'' Lena teased, receiving a little shove in return. Everyone laughed at her expense.

''How about Charades?'' Winn asked and to his surprise everyone agreed.

They played that for a while and then moved on to other games. The night was going well and everyone was having fun and laughing, but James kept looking at Lena the whole time, just waiting for a chance to try and talk to her again. However, Kara and Sam noticed this and always started a conversation with her, so he would take a hint and leave her alone. And it worked... until the moment she went to the kitchen to get herself more wine.

James took the opportunity that everyone was distracted and went to speak to her. ''Lena, we need to talk. You can't keep pretending that I'm not here and that I don't exist.''

She glanced at him and let out a long sigh.

'' Lena '' His voice was laced with anger when he said her name this time.

''If you knew what was good for you, you'd leave me alone and only speak to me when is work related.'' Lena's voice was low and cool. Turning to go back to the living room, she was once again stopped by James, but this time he held her by her wrist.

If you didn't actually know Lena, you would think her calm demeanor was nothing to worry about. But her eyes were telling a complete different story.

''Is everything ok here?''....
