I tossed and turned and tossed and turned, sleep to find me seeming almost impossible.

Shouldn't have jinxed it.

Ya, well you still did, I mean like seriously you really thought that sleeping would be easy since you got two days pass?

I-shut up!

Well, at least I won't have any nightmares. Being awake was definitely worth it.

I got up to on the chandelier, my room basking in a beautiful golden glow.

What to do?

What the- I swear it wasn't there before.

I walked towards the blinds and looked behind it seeing a door.

I blinked once, twice, thrice.

Wait wha-

Slowly and silently opening the door, I saw the balcony!

I have a balcony in my room?! That's awesome.

Woah! This sight was breathtaking, I gazed at the shining stars littered in the sky in amazement, there were a lot of stars and they looked brilliant, but it doesn't end there, in the middle of the stars and cotton like clouds stood the most brightest moon I've ever seen, it looked so majestic.

The sky was a black and royal blue colour with a hint of purple here and there, the sight was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Thinking quickly, I ran to my room and took out my new painting set my brothers bought me.

Taking out a new canvas and setting my chair in front of the royal styled glass ledge, I took out my paints and started painting, my hands moving skillfully like they had a mind of their own.

..............................................................................

I rubbed my eyes, looking at the sun peaking through the clouds.

Time do fly by.

I looked at my finished work, a smile finding it's way onto my face, it looked so beautiful and calm, the painting was so blissful to look at.

And one glance at the painting and I knew what to do.

I have to draw more paintings like this and hang it around my room so whenever I feel stressed I'll have something to take my mind off.

It isn't easy, not one bit, but I want to try, try to get better, there are many people who have it even worse than me and I want to say at least I tried when I would be pulled back to this never ending darkness.

Shaking my head to get rid of all that thoughts, I looked at my clothes, just noticing how my hands and shirt were full of paint.
