"Ella" he mocked me, calling the name someone special to me used to call me.

I avoided eye contact looking anywhere but him.

"What happened?.." my dad asked me with fake worry.

I just shook my head not even daring to say anything.

"I asked what happened!!" He snapped with all his fake worry vanishing into thin air.

"N-nothing" I told him trembling.

"Today we are gonna play a game" he said totally brushing off what I said.

I nodded my head not wanting to face the consequences if I didn't answer.

"Oh..is little Ella agreeing?"

I avoided his gaze, glancing at the painting behind me.

"When I speak to you, you will look at me!" He spat looking at me in rage.

"Ok, let's play-"

"I will give you ten minutes to hide and if I didn't catch you within ten minutes, then you are are free-
-but if I did catch you, then....you'll see" He said with a dark smirk.

He left me, turning around and counting till 10 minutes.

I ran, entering a room nearby and hid under the bed.

I looked cautiously for him by turning my head sideways, looking through the little gap I had entered in.

But being the idiot I was, I forgot to look at my other side.

"Ella"

"What the hell?!"

"Who the f*** is this?!"

Their screaming brought me back to the land of the living.

"Who the hell invited the homeless?"

Okay, so the last one hurt, it hit home.

Because it was true.

"Enough!"

Silence.

You could literally hear their ragged breathing.

One demand from my older brother and everyones silent.

To be honest, even I got scared when he snapped.

I flinched slightly, and thank the heavens they didn't notice it.

"Arabella, why don't you take a seat" He asked in his usual cold voice.

"O-okay" I said smiling awkwardly.

To be completely honest, I was so scared that I was practically shaking mentally, but I, once again ladies and gentlemen pulled it off.

I took the only empty seat beside the brother who kindly regarded me as a homeless person.

Life's good!!

Puh-leese note the sarcasm.

Taking the seat beside him, he looked at me with his jaw clenched and a glare set on his face.

Well, already feeling the love.

My eldest brother sat at the head of the table, and cleared his throat.
