"Hello-?..." you called out
*Come on come on pick up..* you heard from the other end, a man- talking to himself
"Hello?" You spoke out again, clearly this time
*Alcina? Is that you?* you heard the man speak again
"Karl?" You asked, your eyebrow raising in curiosity "it's Y/N- Alcina isn't here right now-"
Radio silence
"Hello?" You spoke out again
*Do you know just how worried we were!* Heisenberg hissed *jesus fuck-! You all left without no note, no nothin'!*
*oh! are they there? Thank the lords.* you heard a woman's voice coming from afar- Donna?
"Worried? Worried about what?" You asked, sitting down on the piano bench "Moreau was at the castle if anything- he knows where we are"
*well yeah dumbass! How do you think I thought to call here?
"Were you calling to be a dick? Or was there an actual reason?" You questioned, your looked down at the phone- irritated "we got here with no power"
*no-* he grumbled *....sorry...moreau is on his way towards the cabin as well to check on you'. He took one of your horses and set out this morning..we were worried* he admitted finally
You shook your head, sliding your hand against your face 'men.'
*where's Alcina?*
"She's out with some of the girls- hunting" your attention got slightly pulled away by Cassandra through the window
She brought up the rest of the logs, neatly placing them where you were situated earlier
*alright, well can you tell her to - call me whenever she - gets back?* the line was a bit finicky, it cut slightly here and there but the call stayed opened
"Is something wrong?" You questioned, slowly twirling the cord through your fingers
Cassandra walked in, her eyes laid onto the person on the phone immediately-
*well no- nothing wrong* he paused *someone came to the village*
"What?" You perked yourself up slightly in your seat
'Oh yeahh..the vans' you remembered
"Did a bunch of vans and trucks arrive kinda yesterday night ish?" You asked finally- curious of the answer
*yeah! how do - you know?* the line cut slightly- the connection lines for the phone were weaker towards your cabin
"We saw them coming when we were headed towards the cabin..obviously we woulda told you all if we would have had power yesterday"
"Anyways- what did they do?"
*they didn't do.. anything, they - want to do something*
"Karl you aren't making any sense-" you groaned, the phone call seemed like it wasn't going anywheres
You caught Cassandra's attention- she redirected herself towards you slightly
"What's going on?" She asked, concerned
"Nothing honey..just your uncle" you rolled your eyes playfully, whispering back to her- you covered the bottom of the phone
