Family bonding

Your eyes parted, you felt groggy

You sat upwards and admired your scenery- everyone was still asleep, your lady's grip around you was loose, you were able to wiggle out slowly

You stretched out and blinked a couple of times, rubbing your eyes as they were still adjusting to the light

'They should be up soon, I wanna try and get a start on breakfast for them' you stumbled your way into the kitchen, sometimes balance catching you off guard from your unbalanced body

You yawned and made your way towards the fridge, opening it- you cursed yourself out

"Fuck sakes, the power's out" you remembered and groaned audibly

You dragged your feet against the ground and made your way towards your shared room with your lady

You opened up your bag and grabbed some jeans, socks and a simple grey shirt for right now

You liked your simplistic look, compared to the lords you had different outfits and didn't restrict yourself to an iconic look, your lady had died down a bit more since you appeared in her life, easing on her outfits. Yet with anything she wore she had to seem elegant

You still weren't yet able to put your hair up on your own which irritated you since your hair wasn't that short so it got in the way

After having gotten ready, you grabbed your shoes at the door- slid them on and left to go investigate the back of the cabin

"What the.." you mumbled, a slim enough tree had fallen onto the breaker box situated behind the house

'Now how am I gonna get this off' you walked over to it and grabbed it, yanking it towards you to try and pry it off

But to your obvious luck, it wouldn't budge- the tree had nestled itself in the ground, sturdy enough for it to be solid in place

You pondered a couple ideas but one obvious one stuck out the most, conjuring your arm to move the fallen tree

You weren't too sure how you'd succeed- not yet having found the trick to bring out your powers

You sighed and simply watched the tree for a couple moments

"Hmph" you focused and closed your eyes, you didn't necessarily know what to focus on- if it should be your breathing, your stance, your concentration or other

You did know that when you felt strong emotions, regardless of of feelings- your arm would suddenly appear

You closed your eyes and thought about some things, anything to spark up some emotion

Your mind flicked through it's channels of thoughts, going from happy, to sad, to irritating, to thoughts that made you angry

You stood motionless for a couple more moments, shaking your head slightly

"Ugh!! Fuck sakes!"

Your head whipped around fully, taking in your surroundings

"Hello?" You called out "is someone there?" Your stance changed, you brought your arm up as if you were ready to throw a fight

Mere seconds later you saw a head pop up from the side of the cabin

"Y/N?" You heard call out

"AHH!" You yelled out, your chest sparked with fear, you whipped around to face a familiar figure- your lady

"Fuck..I thought you were-" you shook your head "never mind-"

Your lady looked at you strangely, she pointed towards something slightly behind you
