Chapter 7: Troublesome

"Damn Mitchy-chan! Why didn't cha' say that Shibuya has a lot of cute girls! I would've moved here a long time ago!"

Gen stated with excitement while lying on his stomach on Takemichi's bed.

"The fuck are you doing here?! I can't believe you're even here! How did you know anyway!"

Takemichi is pissed. When he finally thought that he can be at peace for a few days, Gen just had to come and follow him all the way here to Shibuya. He couldn't believe the guy. This redhead is unbelievable.

"Chill man, your old man asked for me to look out for you, ya' know. Maybe he was worried ya' getting to some shit here again"

Gen explained. He knew about Takemichi's past here. Takemichi told him himself, believing that Genjiro would leave him alone after knowing what kind of person he is but it got even worse. He became more determined to befriend him and now he's stuck by him ever since.

Although he is annoying, Genjiro is a nice person in his own way. His words stuck by Takemichi up until now.

"Couldn't care less if you killed someone. I judge people by my impression of them, not by their past and I kinda like ya' man so we're buddies now!"

He is one of a hella friend he got to have but he's happy he met him. At least he doesn't have time to wallow in loneliness since Gen had always been there for him ever since. They kept him distracted to think about something depressing.

"Fine, just don't mess anything up on my house"

His father didn't sell their house in which Takemichi was glad because a lot of memories remained here especially of his grandma that he wanted to cherish.

"Of course!"

Now he even got a pain in the ass to take care of.

"Do you have food? Mitchy-chan I'm hungry!"

One of Gen's annoying traits is that he is a mooch. He always liked to bother Takemichi or the others and even ends up sleeping over at their place even against their will. No wonder his father liked him and trusted him as Takemichi's friend despite being a delinquent is because of his honest and outgoing personality. He can be rude and knows no limits at times but he knows how to respect others.

"Fine let's just eat outside"

Takemichi didn't bother arguing with him since he too was feeling hungry at the moment. It's already evening and the chances of meeting THEM are high but Takemichi had already braised himself if ever. Besides, he just disappeared without a word or even a goodbye. They might have just forgotten about him as well.

"Oh right Mitchy-chan! You see, I've met this group and there's this one tall dude with a cool dragon tattoo on the side of his head! Think ya' know em'? You said you were part of a gang before ain't cha'?"

Takemichi froze at the read-head's statement. He only knew one person with that unique dragon tattoo on the side of the head.

"Draken"

He murmured but Gen managed to hear him.

"Draken? Damn, that's a cool name! So you do know em'"

If that was really Draken then Mikey and the others should also be there. He looked at Gen for a second before continuing to slurp his ramen noodles.

"Yeah I did, but Gen-kun maybe it's better if we stay away from them for now. Try not to cause trouble either"

"What? Okay fine, I did promise I won't cause you trouble anyways....so when are you visiting your grandma? I'll come with"
